Baking, Birthdays, FOOD, Friends MELTING MOMENTS FOR A 1ST BIRTHDAY 12 April 2014

Guess what’s baking?

Melting Moments (recipe at the link) are one of my favourite things to bake. And Chris’. And my kids’.

They’re easy to make, keep well in the fridge, and always have people raving. Pretty good ROI considering they don’t take long to do and require very few ingredients!

So I made a batch of these to bring to a 1 year old birthday party, because it was by the poolside and I thought these were lighter (esp because they’re citrus flavoured) than my standard chocolate based desserts. My plate of two-dozen cookies returned to me empty, so I guess that’s a good sign!

With three yummy mummies. And one really sexy one 😉

I like this oddball pic of Hunter, because it’s just so him. Nonplussed about everyone at the party, dark shades on, too cool for school.

A pic of the birthday girl and family!

I LOVE this photo. For many reasons…

  1. I look nice in it, I think. What can I say? I’m vain.
  2. I look so alone and relaxed. Not two words you’d used to describe a mum at a kid’s birthday party.
  3. Look behind me. Lots of little kids, and possibly a drowning person behind me. Do I care? NOPE!! Haha!

Party pics snitched off Janice, cos she was using her whizbang camera.
