I gave yesterday. It was so not enough I thought. But you’re right, if everyone (or enough people) gives a bit, it adds up.
Exactly! Even if it’s $5, if every person donated that, it turns into a whoppping lot π
Yeah, every bit, no matter how tiny will definitely add up~! Yay!! π
you are so very right.

Why wouldn’t you want your parents to know? *I* am very proud of you, and they should be too! π
Um.. it’s just hard to explain. Making donations is a private thing and I don’t want people in real life to know. I know, I’m crazy, but it’s just how I think!!
I totally understand (and agree with) where you are coming from. It throws me off when people talk about money issues openly. I would not tell my parents how much I donated, either. I have not told anyone, come to think about it.
It’s just “funny” having people in real life know.. it’s hard to explain!! And i decided if ‘online’ people know, offline people will end up finding out too.. it’s not a HUGE secret and terrible if people find out, but just rather not blab it.

That’s very generous of you. And I don’t think you parents would flip! But will they know when they see the credit card bills?
I don’t use my parents money (thank God!) and have my own cards, so they’ll never know π
Hi Bev,
I would not feel bad about the amount you donated, I think it is a lot more than anyone would expect of someone of your age and position.
Also maybe you could make a public post with the redcross link?
Some people I know donated $1000+.. but I guess as long as your intentions are good and helpful, it all counts!
