By the way just a hint about your apartment hunting. If you wanna bargain the christmas period is the BEST period… look for apartments now cause this is the lowest time for renters… You can probably bargain 100 bucks off if they are desperate.

Yeah it was my birthday yesterday, 31 Oct.. it’s fun having home-cooked bday dinners!

My lease ends last week of Jan, so I’ll have to sign something 1st week of Jane.. I hope it’s ok then?!

It’s a choc mud cake.. and not just ANY choc mud cake – this one is specifically very moist and just sweet enough. It’s utterly incredible when you warm it up ‘cos the chocolate on the outside melts and goes fudge-y.. and serve it with vanilla ice cream!

Along with birthday wishes, I think Sculpture by the Sea is really cool. I researched it for a marketing project I did last year. I like the sculptures last year from the Little Mermaid.

I didn’t see last year’s.. most of the sculptures I saw were a real “what the?!” moment, as someone mentioned 😉 But some WERE cool. I just cant’ appreciate weird/abstract art!

Haha! well, I remember once we had some drama students putting on a ‘performance’ – which was basically then walking up to random people at Uni and SQUAWKING in their faces. I never really understood that…..!

Mmmm. Your food posts always always get me hungry.
I went to Sculpture by the Sea last year and while there were some really nice ones, there were manymany obscure ones. Last year’s had this piece where it was just a patch of grass and on it lay a couple of white trash bags. It was a classic what the- moment.

I saw this huge pair of sunnies that really did look real, that was quite nice. But 90% of everything I saw was definitely a “what the?” moment, like you said 😉
