Love all your buys especially the “Gardener” skirt. The vertical lines make you look real slim.
Ya I think so too! Didn’t realise vertical lines could really work π
Thanks! Slimming is good.. I have to wear the skirt more, hehe
You’re looking so slim in those photos!!
Very cute buys. I wish I could pull off the delicate-floaty-girly look. I’m way too practical =D
Ooo thanks! But not losing weight anymore… I kinda plateau’d and it’s too hard :X
Hehe I do like the girly look, but I need it fairly reasonable so I can wear to work as well.
Niiiice! I could sure use some retail therapy myself. If only it would help cure my pneumonia. Hehe… You got great taste! I loved what you picked out. *^^*
Awwwww get well soon hon! *hugs*

Ahhh yes, not much beats retail therapy!! I love the colours in that Mexico skirt…gorgeous!!!
The skirt’s quite different to my usual colours I wear.. so i’tll be fun. Think I’ll wear it with a plain white tank to or something π
When I broke up with my ex-boyfriend, my best friend gave me this card:
I bet you’re getting all that “time heals all wounds” crap, right? {{open card}} It’s shopping. Trust me on this one.
π
LOVE that card. Best advice EVER!
Very nice stuff!
π Thanks! Looking forward to taking my new clothes out for a whirl.. hehe

Tee hee, so utterly true! It really did cheer me up… I know it’s sad, but at least it worked π
i lurve sales!! and retail theraphy is the most gratifying way of distraction!! does alannah hill stuff always come with cute names!?!?
love the affair with gardener skirt.. so cute. and springy!!
Ya, all her clothes are named π Some are just hilarious, like “I’m having an affair”, etc!
those are lovely, bev! =)
i don’t know your e-mail address, so i can’t e-mail you this, but i am desperately looking for a vernis french purse, and i know you have one… so do you know anyone who’s selling a slightly used one? i have on already that i paid very little for because it’s full of color transfer, but i wanted to try one out before i went and spent that kind of money on a used but not abused one. i’m in canada (i’m sure you knew that already) so i can’t order from elux, and i live eight hours away from my nearest LV boutique, so that’s not an option, unfortunately.
i’ve checked with LVLU and the BBB and ebay (obsessively) and can’t find one at all.
you’re the one person i know who might be able to help me… =)
i’d love to hear from you: eeyore(at)ontera.net.
thanks, bev! =)
Hey chica, I’m planning on selling my Indigo one, but it probably won’t be for under retail so I don’t think I can help you out there, sorry π
If I hear of anyone selling one, I’ll let you know!
well, i’m willing to negotiate if you are! i’d LOVE LOVE LOVE an indigo FP!

oh wow, nothing more satisfying than getting good bargains!! my fave is the silk halter-top π
for sure! It’s waaaaaaaay better than regular retail therapy, where you just end up feeling guilty afterwards π
Adore the silk halter – it’s very pretty. I endorse treating yourself after a breakup. I also recommend good upbeat music, like Shakira’s “Ready for the Good Times”, Joanna Pacitti – “Watch Me Shine” and Nelly Furtado “Promiscuous”
It’s nice to splurge a little on myself.. might as well give myself some treats and love right π
Thanks for the music tips! Going to check ’em out now..
there’s a factory outlet near Melbourne that stocks Alannah Hill clothes, and they go for about near half the price of the usual. they’re always so pretty and the material is amazing.
but. too bad they’re a bit too colourful for me! i would love to be able to pull off wearing one of her stuff!
Yeah I was always jealous that Melb had it, so glad they have one in Sydney now π
A lady and her friend were next to me in the store.. looking at the clothes, and one said “Good grief, these are girly!!” and they walked out. Heh π So you’re not alone!
Ahhh yes, not much beats retail therapy!! I love the colours in that Mexico skirt…gorgeous!!!

I just read your previous entries, so hope you are feeling better now. But I think you made a brave decision. We gals definitely deserve guys who appreciate us =)
I’m feeling better.. esp since we’re spending some time apart. And yeah, I’m the soppy kind, I really love ‘sweep you off your feet’ kinda stuff! π
most girls (including me) want that kinda love. ahh the dizzy heart pumping head spinning love. really fab purchases!
Retail therapy is great! I love those bonds underwear but I can’t find many places that sell them here in the uk which is a right pain, reasonably priced comfy undercrackers are hard to find!
Retail therapy’s the best kind of therapy π
i like Bonds but always saw their cotton stuff. These silky ones are just divine! If you want me to help get you some, lmk π
Ooh that would be really nice of you when you have the time.
I am sure they have a website so I had better have a look at what size I am, the size has worn off the tags of mine due to a lot of wearing!
Sure, just lmk the size and what you want and I can pick it up for you next time I’m out. LMK the price you would pay too, as I’ll only get it if it’s cheaper here!
AHH! I love your two new skirts, especially the affairs with the gardener. π
Shopping is always good (for the soul) π
I’m trying to add more skirts to my wardrobe.. I’m always in jeans, now I want to be a bit more ladylike π
I’m in love with your “Meet Me In Mexico” skirt.. :3
They only had one piece in my size.. I just grabbed it and didn’t let it go, hah!
i hope you’re doing ok =D
i love your meet me in mexico skirt!!! so dainty n lady looking!!! gorgeous babe
It’s really swishy and super soft ‘cos of the silk, I really like it π
and yeah, I’m feeling better now after the retail therapy.. hehe
Very nice stuff!

It’s really swishy and super soft ‘cos of the silk, I really like it π
and yeah, I’m feeling better now after the retail therapy.. hehe
