Man I love myself a good burger.
And
Located on the outside-corner of Star Vista mall, it’s not easy to find since it’s not in a central location. But I can sniff a burger joint out like a pig sniffs out truffles.
Only downside? Hunter flatly refuses to eat a single thing there. My tofu-eating healthy child, remember?? He shudders at the sight of the burger, and he looks at the fries in disgust. Go figure.
But they are AWESOME. The burgers are pricier than fast food joints, but are totally justified. The patty is beefy (because I can’t think of a better word) and juicy, the bun is fluffy, and the tomato/lettuce is crisp and fresh. I get mine with an extra of cheddar cheese, because ridiculously, their standard burger comes with no cheese. NO CHEESE!!!!! What is the world coming to…
I always get the Sweet potato fries, with chipotle dip. It’s kickass amazing. I love the sweetness of the fries, paired with the spicy saltiness of the dip. I actually cannot understand why Hunter sneers at this. It’s so good!!!!!
But their star is the Strawberry milkshake. It’s not cheap (over $7 from memory) but is thick with ice cream and is addictive. And this? Hunter loves. As you can see in the photo below..
Triple O’s isn’t too packed on weekdays, especially since I go at 11:30 smack when the open. The service isn’t the most welcoming or friendly, but they get the job done. It’s fast food, after all.
I’m also a fan of the sofa seating, because I always score the corner seat and Hunter can play around on it.
Like so:
“Hey I just met you, and this is craaaazy….”

I totally agree about Triple O’s! A Canadian friend told us about it and I was really surprised just now good the burgers are for a fast food joint!
Unfortunately I’m a bit sick of them now cos I went so frequently when I discovered it…. Now I gotta lay off it for a couple of weeks 😛
I go to the one at Orchard Towers!
There’s a Groupon voucher on for that at the moment!!
Awesome! Triple O’s is my favourite fast food burger. Even the famous In’n’Out doesn’t compare. And it started from a local Vancouver restaurant called White Spot. It’s an institution over here. 🙂
I LOOOOVE In n Out! But I haven’t had it in years, so I can’t compare the two. But those two are my top 2 burgers.
I wonder if Triple O’s here in Singapore has the same taste/quality as the original one in Vancouver?!
After hearing all my Cali friends talk about In n Out, I was expecting it to be mindblowing. I even tried stuff from the secret menu. It was good, but there’s something about the richness of Triple O’s. And yam fries! I die for those yam fries.
Long time reader, just thought I’d drop a reply. I love reading your blog!!! The way you write, articulate, descriptive but engaging. Your description of the burgers was just perfect – now I want to go try them! Haha!
Hunters eyes look just like yours in the picture!!!
Just want to say I’ve been a long time reader. From when you got engaged to now having your second child. I love reading your blogs – it’s so entertaining. I wish I could be as motivated as you to blog almost daily. Maybe one day – I just love the fact you can go back and read what you did day to day because seriously Ive already forgotten what I did last month! You’re doing such a great job! Continue blogging!
Thanks Michelle, for your super nice words. It’s really kind of you!
Actually the reason why I bother to write so often is specifically so I can read back years from now.. and I think it’d be nice for my kids to see what they were like when they were young. I’d personally have loved if my parents had a blog and documented my childhood, heh!
