After much deliberation, we bought… ermm… yet another stroller. With a second kid now, it’s not easy bringing around 2 strollers (our Bugaboo Bee and Combi Well-comfort), and not feasible if only one of us is pushing both kids around at the same time.

So Mum and Dad bought us and the kids the Maclaren Twin Triumph! 🙂

It was the lightest and most compact twin stroller in the market. Fully-reclining seats are a must for me, and this is suitable from birth. The seat lines are comfortable (and reversible), and I really like the navy/red colour combo. The maneuverability of this Maclaren is superb – turns very well and is a smooth ride. We have no problem fitting through doors or down the aisles.

Only downside is the pretty useless canopy, but I bought 2 Snoozeshades to make the interior black-out when it comes to nap time. The baskets underneath are also fairly useless but that hasn’t really bugged me since I put everything in my Tribe diaper bag anyway.

Thing is, pushing around a twin stroller is a HUGE attention-getter. You really turn heads! I guess people immediately assume you have twins, and want to check them out. Hunter also really loves being next to his brother… and will immediately reach over to *pat pat* or give Carter a cuddle and kiss if he’s fussing. Very very cute to watch 🙂 He will also reach to hold Carter’s hand if he’s asleep.

Size-wise, it’s obviously bigger than a single, but not as gigantic as other double strollers out there. It does look a bit oversized when I push it around, as I’m petite. But it actually looks pretty normal when Chris pushes, as you can see below…

Best of all, both kids sleep well in it. They have consistently done their naps side-by-side, with no fuss. Ermmm… *touch wood*!!
