I seem to be at Pique
They also have fairly comfy lil sofas for babies to play and sit on, and the cafe’s quite ‘open’ so you don’t feel guilty if your bub yells for a bit 😉
Man, their desserts are top notch. And, without fail, I always get their Hot iron waffles with ice cream. I like it with plain maple syrup, and you get to choose from around 10 different gourmet ice creams – butterscotch, peanut butter and caramel, smores, etc etc. The waffle is the proper sort – light and crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. It’s also a fat waffle, not like the Asian-style of waffles that are rampant all over Singapore, which are a bit sorrowful looking as they’re very flat/thin and more chewy than they are fluffy/light.
Babbing nonsense in the car
mmm foood… Could only drool at those desserts. Can’t put on any further sugar weight, sobs!
Why can’t desserts and exercise be swapped.. So the more desserts you eat the more weight you lose?!??
The only exercise I could do comfortably was brisk walking, due to back aches (not overly serious) I’m avoiding other strenous exercises hence maintaining my food intake is the better option.
Love his chubby thighs! *chomp*
They’re very soft and squishable heh!!
Love the pics, he is such a chunky fellow!!
It’s kinda amazing he still is.. lol. But he’ll stretch out once he starts walking and gets exercise I think!
Love the babbling video!!
He’s so chatty in the morning and in the car, his 2 favourites, lol!
You’d hate the cold in Canada, Bev! Even maple butter doesn’t help ;p
Haha – I just bought some maple butter yesterday at the supermarket and I thought of you – along the lines of “Beverly would LOVE maple butter!”
BTW, maple butter has no diary in it – it simply refers to the creamy thick consistency – it’s syrup just cooked for longer and therefore it’s more concentrated and spreadable.
WHAT!!?
I haven’t heard of that.. but omg yes that sounds like perfection personified. You could whack it on waffles or pancakes or even on toast…. mmmm…. can i go live with you?
