Around 20 of us girls descended upon Cuvee for our Wed night dinner + drinks. I really love Cuvee – a swanky but chill wine bar with great owners (OK I had to say that ‘cos I know ’em!) and fab food. The relaxed but romantic ambience was perfect for chatting with the girls and it wasn’t too noisy so we could still hear each other. One of the best places we’ve been to for drinks so far IMHO, mainly because they fed us so well – all on the house!! Drinks were also such a bargain since we had special deals, so I think all the girls had a great time 😉

I know I look a bit (ok, quite a lot) chubbier in these photos. I haven’t gotten round to losing that pesky 2KG that I stacked on in the USA a few weeks ago… but I will soon, I swear! Also, you’ll notice that my hair is a ton shorter. It’s horrid. I walked past a hairdresser at lunchtime and randomly decided to trim my hair. I said “jian duan yi dian” which I thought meant “cut it a little shorter” and indicated 1 inch with my fingers. But before I knew what was happening, he lopped MORE THAN 7 INCHES OFF!!!!! My hair was almost nearing my waist when straight, and I was so happy with it… and now it’s at my shoulders 🙁 And though some of the girls said “Oh.. it’s not that bad”, I can count on Chris to be honest and he declared it was NOT nice, “Like an auntie”, were his exact words 😛 Arghhhh…. my hair grows at a snail’s pace too, so it will take me about 1 year to grow it back to the original length 🙁

ANYWAY. It was a fun night and also met with a bunch of SHexpt boardies there. I’m not naming names, so see if you can spot who’s who below 😉
