I’ve been exclusively Friends Only for so long – even on the “unimportant”/less major things. Several days ago I tried to make some of my entries public, but I switched them all back to Friends Only after about 20 minutes. I just can’t unprivatize my life for some reason. It’s just a weird feeling to have absolutely no idea who might be stumbling onto your journal and reading your random thoughts and daily life activities.
I’m normally really public, I never keep secrets and I always thought Friends only journals were pathetic (sorry!). But my mind set has changed now.. you really don’t know if any weirdos/psychos are reading about your life and looking at pics of you and your friends, y’know? And sure, they might just register on LJ and get you to add them as a Friend – but even then, it still feels better than when they’re s tranger – if that makes sense!
Thats a good resolution,to be more private about things. And your even starting before New Years! Great start!
btw,I’m adding your cousin to my friends list. I hope she doesn’t mind!

I think you can get a paid account for a month only, so maybe you could try it out and if it’s not worth it, just don’t pay for the next month. Paid accs have TONS of features!
