The prawns look so good. And the good thing is it’s so easy to make them. I’m inspired! I’ve been on a rut recently on my own cooking. Been cooking the same things over and over again. *blah*

Recipe

Sure πŸ™‚ Depending on how many prawns each person wants to have.. but basically this recipe is for 10 prawns (good for 2 people)

1) heat 1/2 cup olive oil in a saucepan
2) add 2 cloves of finely chopped garlic and sliced red chilli and a pinch of parsley
3) cook for approx 1 min, or until garlic browns
4) Put raw prawns in oven dish, pour oil mixture over it, cover dish with foil
5) bake in 250 celcius oven for 6-7mins (make sure it’s only just cooked when you take it out, as it will cook more even out of the oven)

It’s a really really really easy recipe, so quick to make!

waitara

waitara is s nice suburb.. loads of school kids, from leo’s, barker during the 3-4 clock period. it’s ok but kinda scary sometimes because there is hardely any other people at other times (i guess that goes for any small stations) but it’s nice and quiet- totally different to the ct.

i don’t think there is any crimes around the area, housing etc are very expensive and private schools around so.. i guess they all behave really nicely!?!

when i go to my parents place i have to cross the harbour bridge every day and i got really sick of it now i hardely ever get to see them- i miss the bridge. my house is like 5 mintues away from north sydney- haven’t been to balmain in so long as well… you are making me home sick!!!

Re: waitara

Ohhh thanks for all the info. I don’t care much about the busy school period as I’ll be @ work anyway! It does sound like a nice suburb πŸ™‚

Man, North Sydney is so close to QVB (where eBay is).. what’s the av. rent there for a 2 bedroom unit if you don’t mind me asking?

Re: waitara

parents place is really close to the NS station- it’s a house and about 450 per week so it’s pretty expensive, i’m unsure about units though it really does range in north sydney cause you don’t know the quality of units until you see them- some are very old but still the same price.. median prices ranges about 150- 300..bugger..but i’m sure there are really nice place around for cheaper but transport is so easy. buses every 10 minutes or so.

Re: waitara

Ooo $300 doesn’t sound bad! I basically want a 1 or 2 room unit that has good security and is modern/clean/nice.. so think $300 is probably the lowest I can get. Hrm. I’m def going to look for places in NS now πŸ™‚
