It’s AU$17 not US$17! But I did hear that SG doesn’t pay very high π My cousin did a receiptionist job as well as waitressing and both were only about SG$5-6. I’d go on strike π

Well done Bev, thats really great! I really need to get a casual job too, I feel so slack living off my parents. Ah well it has to wait though, exams coming up and then I’m back to Melbourne for the hols yay :).
Thanks π It’s not a real job but it’s still kinda fun to have them call me back and say they’ll wait for me and stuff π
I hate living off my parents too!! Like a giant moocher :T
Congrats Bev π
cool!!
congrats on that…
it’s so seldom that you get a company that would wait for you to come back from your trip!!
wow you’re really something… for them to want you so much and all!!
– Ben
Hehe yeah it’s kinda cool to have them call me and say all that.. it made me feel all warm and mushy π Now I just hope Microsoft or CSIRO or IBM will be that receptive towards me when I send out my resumes π
what are the requirements for getting a PR in australia?
It’s actually quite easy if you’ve graduated in an Australian uni and you hold a degree that’s “wanted” in Australia. If you have that, then you’re pretty much guaranteed PR.. so I know I’ll get it, it’s just that there’s a lot of things to do to get it!
Go you!
Hee! If only getting a career were that easy π
yes great plan!
