(Jac) It does sound nuts enough over there. Maybe just relax a little about everything. I know it’s hard, but it beats fighting all the time! Arguing is high energy-consumption, you know?
About the present, maybe you can ask her what she needs? Higher possibility of getting something good this way. Otherwise, if she likes taking pictures, then the digi. cam. sounds perfect! Good luck with everything! (Rem. to breathe!) =)

Yeah.. just highly stressful ‘cos everyone is fighting and at the same time everyone is having moving-out issues, etc, etc, etc. Just a bad monht I guess :T
I don’t want to ask or she’ll know we’re getting her something! But yet I’m worried if she has a digicam back home or something.. I’m just really bad thinking of present ideas *lol*

(Jac) Ask her casually if she has a digi. cam.? Maybe say, on the pretext of considering which cam. is good? Hmm, I’m not that good at getting presents too, ha. =)

Hahah she’s SO gonna know! I’m thinking the gift voucher suggestion is good now.. cos i can get her 1 to an electronics store (to buy digicam or whatever) and another to a girly store (for cosmetics or makeup or whatever)!

Hehe, that’s true. The voucher idea is great too! I’m sure she’ll like whatever you give her anyway! =)

Wow! A digital camera or a PDA as a present…they’re expensive!! Wish I had friends like you!

No way! If you add it up, she was so nice and let us stay in her place for free for 3 weeks, which works out to about $800. And then she proceeded to give me a ton of free appliances and other misc stuff.. and absolutely refused to take any $$ in return for everything. So if I give her a present, it will have to be at least to that value to be fair!

Ehhh it’s not really fun seeing apartments – a bit of a headache cos we have to rush around so much! But hopefully we’ll find something 🙂 I’m paying most of it but my parents’ll help me out ‘cos they want me to get a 2bedroom place, so they can come and stay whenenever we want 🙂
I’m always up for swapping! My list is boring though, I haven’t really swapped much recent 🙁 But lmk ifyou see anything??

Moving (and everything else around it) is just so much hassle and stressful. Been there, done that. I’ve moved 6 times in the past 5 1/2 years :|. I hope you get all things sorted out soon!
