i’d never let my boyfriend spend $1000 on a watch for me. well, i guess if he was rolling in the dough and had nothing better to do with it. but that seems like an awful lot of money for a watch, being so young ‘n all. but i guess the little things in life please me, rather than extremely overpriced watches. does he have a really high paying job? does his parents send him money? how is he just going to all of a sudden get $1000 in his account? and give it away on a measily watch? if i had the choice of a romantic card or a $1000 watch, i’d most definitely pick the card. but we’re all different! just wondering how someone just in college can throw away money so easily…
I don’t think he meant that literally, since that is a HECK of a lot of money.. I think he meant it as a gesture/claim to mean that he would spend that much money on me if I really liked something.
