Uncategorized, Wedding WEDDING: part 7 – the photoshoot 23 December 2009

After the ceremony and lunch reception, we were whisked back to our Bridal Suite at Goodwood Park Hotel, where we had a mere 1 hour to rest/sleep. Surprisingly, we actually fell asleep, probably because we were so exhausted! It was painful waking up when the makeup artist knocked on the door shortly afterwards πŸ™

Our very first piece of mail, addressed to us πŸ˜›

View of the private pool and garden for suite guests

There were 2 of these big bathrooms in the suite, so big I couldn’t fit it in the photo πŸ˜›

A welcome tea set, fruit basket and chocolate/hazelnut wedding cake

Doing the final lipgloss application

We had our wedding photoshoot at 5:00PM around the hotel, since the hotel has a very English feel and suits our wedding theme very well. A lot of posing here and there, and sweating our butts off, even though it seems so effortless in the photos πŸ˜› It was a lot of fun, but also a lot of hard work – it’s seriously not that easy prancing around looking good! You’re in these poses that you have to hold, so your legs and arms get really sore after awhile, and you’re battling the heat of the sun and traipsing around looking for ‘that perfect shot’. Much respect to fashion models that do this for a living.

Well it’s heavier than what I normally wear (ie. mini dresses) πŸ˜› I haven’t worn a bridal gown before though so I can’t really compare with otherse!

there’s a dream like quality to your wedding photos.
very beautiful….very sophisticated….
may i ask what camera was used to capture the images?

Wow, your dress almost (but doesn’t!) steals the spotlight in your pictures! I feel so happy looking at these pictures. Beautifully done.

I didn’t realise your train was so long!! It didn’t look that long in person. I love the last photo best with your dress in the wind. You look stunning.
