Did the Confident Negotiator course on Thurs/Fri last week, so WATCH OUT dudes, I can now negotiate to get whatever I want from you. Muahahhaa!! Erm. Yes.
Anyway, I was a bit nervous that I’d be spending 2 whole days at the course, without internet *shudders*. I CAN’T SURVIVE LIKE THAT!! But fortunately, I figured out to get a Gmail client downloaded onto my mobile, and better, yet, Gmail calender is now mobile-enabled! WHEW!! Between the 2, I could survive the 2 days without having to go through cold turkey 😉

Oh, and I went to that Hunter Connection’s indian takeaway again for a quick dinner on Fri night. I was after a lamb curry, but it was $10.90 for a box if it. I thought it was a bit big, and the lovely lady offered to give me a “half full” one for $6.90. Cool! So I agreed and got that. But then she pretty much filled it to the brim anyway, how nice is that? Then I got a Garlic Naan for $2.50. So the total should be $9.40, right? But I gave her a $10 note and she gave me $2 change. I told her she’d given me more change that she should, and she just smiled and said “No it’s OK!” and that was that! So nice 🙂 So I got a mega dinner for $8, so much so that I actually had leftovers. Super place, I’m going to have Indian food for dinner all the time now, hehe!

Anyway, having a lazy Saturday today.. went to the gym next door for Body Attack (absolutely love this class) and Body Balance (mix of tai-chi and yoga) then I’m heading there again for an Aromatherapy massage – the rooms are gorgeous and it’s around $70 for a 1-hr massage.. 80% of which can be claimed back from my health cover (thanks eBay!) so if they’re good, I’ll be going there all the time 😛

Yeah it’s 80% which is great! I think I should make it a point to go every 2-4 weeks to make the most use out of it 🙂

It would be handy to have access to my email like that while I’m away, but I don’t think I’m savvy enough, heh. I think I’ll just try to log into my Hotmail now and then.

hmmm my health cover is pretty good, but i don’t remember seeing massages covered, unless you have a health reason for it. i wonder if insomnia from work stress is a good reason…?

Hi. I know the curry place as well! its the little one downstairs next to the Malaysian place. Everytime i go past it i always notice how authentic the curry aroma is and keep reminding myself to try the butter chicken there. Unfortunately, i always tailor my lunch route going past it last so i end up getting chinese from hunters connection upstairs anywyz. Oops hehehe. – Di

Gmail on my cell phone saved my life. I can deal without internet for a few
dayshours but I’m constantly checking my email on my phone. LOVE IT!Totally agree. Thank goodness for Google and all their innovations!
btw…that magazine ad you were looking at with star for the revlon’s sugar sugar — that stuff is awesome! it makes your lips look so pretty. too much of it makes it too sparkly though. just a little is perfect. *^^*
