My super-talented friend made me a wonderful gift(s) – Balenciaga braids!!! They’re made using an assortment of Balenciaga bags’ leather tassels, braided together and decorated with a sprinkle of sparkly charms. Sooooo gorgeous. It’s hard to capture it in photos, but in real life they’re really delicate, pretty and sparkle in the light. And the braids are really soft since that’s what Balenciaga’s famous for. Best part is that I can hang them on not only my Balenciaga bags but also my other ones. The blue/green braid looks awesome on my Rusty turquoise bag, for starters 😀

My favourite colours? CHECK.

Nice! I discovered your blog while googling for solutions to my split Bal tassels, and it came up (so glad it did) because of the keyword ‘tassels’ I guess. Love the braid charm, it’s so gorg that it has distracted me from my search for tassels. Balenciaga Tassels

Hi. Does anyone know where I can buy new tassels? Mine are splitting. I tried to glue them togother but they still split. I read somewhere that Balenciaga gives them out for free which i doubt. Does anyone know where I can buy replacement tassels?

I’m in absolute awe of them! At first ‘balenciaga braids’ just sounded like something amateur and simply plaiting the tassels but your turquoise and magenta ones pick up the colours soo well along with those gorgeous beads!

I wannt…but I dont have a candy colour B bag 🙁 I don’t know that’d look good with a burgundy/red?

Yeah they look so nice and professional hey?! I put it on my Rusty bag so they don’t *have* to go on B bags.. and she does make them in whatever colours you want (that she has available, of course)!
