Yayy it’s a small world! They’re also pretty decently priced, considering their location

Oh, looks good. What is rusk flour??
No idea! I used cornstarch as a substitute.. basically just a thickener I think
Hmm. You just gave me an idea for this weekend’s picnic. -winks-
Make sure you keep the meatballs warm though! don’t think they’ll be nice cold π
Noted. =)

I haven’t tried the Ikea one before but I am so going to try out this recipe! Just to clarify:
So there are potatoes in the meatball mixture as well?
I should be able to use extra virgin oil to fry the meatballs, rather than frying them in ‘plenty of butter’ right? This recipe is already so rich!
Thanks Bev!
Actually that’s what I found wrong – when they say mix the potatoes I ignored it, as the potatoes are served whole AFTER! I think they meant to say “mince” π
Oh ok! I found it weird to be adding potatoes into the meatball mixture too. Also, I have no idea what rusk flour is but you used cornstarch as a substitute and it worked too right?
my mum just said to substitute rusk flour with some breadcrumbs π
Oh ok. Will do that instead π
I’ve never tried those at Ikea before.. but yours look real good!
the Ikea meatballs are the BEST.. you gotta try them! Pretty cheap to boot :)~
That ramen sounds delicious!
It’s real yum.. the only place i can find that serves butter ramen!

Ahh! They remind me of Ikea’s swedish meatballs! Mm. I hope I get to try the recipt next time! π
They are! That’s the recipe π
ive tried the one on the left before. it was horrible. the whole bowl of ramen were full of beansprout!! must have a look at the one on the left. is it left when you face road or left when you face the shop? i actually think the ramen stores that are in the strand and opposite kino (e bkshop) is nice..! its also always packed.
Hehhehehehe I specifically said NO BEANSPROUTS!!! They always come with spouts and are so disgusting ;( It’s on the left facing the shops π
They look so wonderful! Is the recipe easy? I’m REALLY lazy. π
Yes!! Real easy.. only 5 steps to make the meatballs and only takes about 15 mins to prepare – longest time is chopping the onions finely but you can just use a blender
Whoa! The meatballs look really delicious! I’m going to try out the recipe soon too!
THey’re really *delicious* but just soooo filling!
Yes!! I think Ikea’s are the swedish meatballs though.. I totally love them – the above recipe is specifically for those :)~
oh yes, Ikea Swedish meatballs ! i must have them each time i go there π
wowowow. very cool! memory’ed!
Heh. I wouldn’t recommend cooking it unless you have 4 people eating tho!
