I’m glad you had a good time, even though Holts was closed. You probably would’ve gone ape in that store. You should come back next year, though. They’re renovating right now and making it huuuuge. And there will be a separate Hermes store opening up as well.
That way, you can do all the shopping, and eat at the restaurants that you want!! 😀
The days that you were here were glorious, and right after you left it’s been raining miserably.

Maybe it’s good Holt Renfrew wasn’t open.. I might’ve gone mad, heh. Do they sell Balenciaga bags @ the Vancouver store?

Cup noodles as in flight meal?! Used to sleep whenever I’m on a plane, but after all these yummy pictures of yours, I think I’m going to stay up and savour as much as I can! =p

Haha yeah.. Air Canada was a budget flight, the one that we got demoted to Economy ;( So actually you were suposed to pay for ANY food on the plane!

Plane food’s the best! I really like it 😛

Funny that a friend of mine works at the shop with the candy apples! =) And you are so lucky that the weather was fab… we’re back to dreary rain again in Vancouver!

Ooooo really?! What a small world, haha. Yeah, the choc shop was cool, i liked the fudgey choc there too, yummmm…

Great food pics, Bev! I travelled on Cathay Pacific once on Economy and even then the food was fantastic. Loved the service and staff too.

They let you order food throughout the whole flight, and would cook it fresh. So fun 😛 The noodles were reaaaally nice – I basically ate Asian the whole way since I figured Cathay’s an asian airline, so that kinda food would be the best!

I recognize the Thai food place! I think. That’s where I usually go to if I want some nice Asian food! The A&W should be just down the street!

It’s upstairs and kind of hidden on Robson St. The service was fab and the food was good :)~ Apparently there’s a place called Royal Thai or something, which has even better food.. but we couldn’t find it and were too lazy to walk any more 😛

oh hey, you went to Thai House Restaurant then?
did you get any of those candied apple? they’re my fav!
and you managed to go to Cafe Crepe heh

’tis fun.. I do like it, but I don’t think I’ll do it again for a loooong time! I’m too old for all this craziness, haha!

Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines are the best all around! And I believe the absolute worst airlines are all American (I can say this as I am one hehehe). Another good flight is Air France. Their service is sketchy, but the modern bar and hip staff is always a plus.

I have to admit I don’t like United airlines.. 😛 The staff were really rude and grumpy but the food was still really good.
