I reckon Elly’s
It’s because it’s about as cutesy as you can possibly get (ie. to appeal to me) that is still wearable and also appealing to boys. I always get all snarky and sulky when I go out shopping and find super adorable girls clothes with pretty prints, and I know they can’t be translated over into boys clothing.Elly has a history of doing very cute boy prints, and Hunter really loves all his vehicle-related shirts… but to me, that appeals to HIM and not ME.
Hey, I’m their mum and I look at them all day, so it’s not tooooo crazy to want to put them in prints that I like too, right? 😛
And so, my favourite print is the “Sea Creatures”, which features a beige background and lots of colourful sea creature cartoons all over it! IT’S MAD CUTE!!!!!!!!!
And, the “Sea Creatures” print also comes in GIRLS dresses. Except not in ladies sizes so I can’t buy it for myself 😉 Here’s Hunter, quite entranced when I gave him his new shirt from Elly:

Their other print, which I call “Sailboats” is set on a solid blue background and has lots of sailboats all over it. I like the turquoise bits in it, so I tend to pair it with their turquoise shorts. It looks like such a resort, I’m-just-hanging-on-my-yacht kinda vibe!
I’ve had two mums approach me on two different occasions when I’ve been out, asking where I got these shirts from. So I guess they’re pretty appealing.
Also helps when Carter, who still does his drunk zombie walk, really turns heads when he totters around (cos he’s so hilarious to watch). Random strangers even take photos and videos of his crazy walk! It means I always get people noticing him, and thus noticing what he’s wearing, and asking me about it!
So here’s the little goody bag from Elly, where you can see the prints in more detail. The vibrancy and colours are really gorgeous. And is it my imagination, or is the “Sea Creatures” fabric a little softer and thinner than the regular Elly fabrics?
Thanks Beverly!!! The boys are super cute!!!
…the clothes help 😉
Love these shirts.
The prints on their girls dresses are freakin’ adorable!
