Dad
The theatre was pretty huge considering it was nowhere near full. I guess their tickets are just waaaaay too expensive and a lot of people didn’t want to pay. Frankly, whilst I thought the show was fun, I wouldn’t pay for it in retrospect, unless my child was super duper into Mickey and dyyyyying to watch the show. I just thought it was expensive, not that the show was bad! Perhaps half the price and I’d be raving about how awesome value it was 😛
The premise is a road trip and Cinderella random pops in (though the other Disney princesses don’t make an appearance and also Tigger pops in. There’s quite a bit with Toy Story, which my cousin pointed out was probably because of their new movie.
Hunter started off quite frightened because this guy comes up on stage and starts shouting and jumping around – it’s super loud, and not interesting at all for a little kid. But he got into it and eagerly pointed out “HEY, MOUSE!!” and later “DUCK!” and “DOG!” when Mickey, Donald and Goofy appeared.
He was eyes-like-dinner-plates through the whole 1.5 hour show, probably because it was so loud and energetic. I actually felt pretty tired just watching them jump around on stage 😉
I do think the kids enjoyed it, but it’s probably better for kids 3 years and older, since at 1.5 hours it’s fairly long and you really want them to understand what’s going on since you’re paying so much for a ticket!
The “baby” couple kiss is so sweet! 😉
Haha it’s a rare shot cos Hunter is not the touchy-feely type!
But who initiated the kiss? 🙂
Probably not Hunter.. he’s not the touchy feely type!
