In a fit of mummy madness, I bought Hunter this pair of French baby sunglasses. They do cost a bit, but are touted to be unbreakable and I’m inclined to believe it’s true – Hunter’s pair has been trodden on, chucked violently on the ground, bent this way and that, etc etc.. and it still looks and functions as good as new. Plus, it came in a pretty colour 😉

He really likes to wear them and will frequently ask for them whilst in the car. I also have MY own sunglasses hanging next to his in the car, and the other day he went “mama!” whilst pointing at my pair, insisting I wear my sunglasses too.

I put them on and he grinned happily, then said decidedly, “Mama… COOL”.

I’m glad you think so, my son! I wonder how long you’ll be thinking that for before it morphs into “*groan* Mummm you’re so…. embarassing!” 😉
