After almost a decade, Chris bids bye-bye to Microsoft and says HELLO to GE Healthcare!
He was given a great offer from GE that allowed him to be based in Singapore, covering the regions of Japan, Australia and Singapore. It’s a very exciting step up for him because he will be helping to build a new business/team within the company.. so fun things lie ahead for us.
So, believe it or not, in a span of just 3 months, our little family will have:
- Moved home and fully decorate our new one (will blog about it soon)
- Started a new job
- Given birth
Most people don’t even do all of the above 3 major life events in a year, let alone in just three months. But, whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right??
Anyhow, CONGRATULATIONS to my wonderful husband on this excellent opportunity!!!! I am duly impressed, and envious as all hell 🙂

Huge congrats to Chris! It’s a great move! I guess I will have a career move soon too. Microsoft is one of the options. Did several interviews with them already.
So does it mean you guys gonna settle down in Singapore for longer? I thought you plan to move to Australia soon. Looking forward to see the pics of your new home. And u mention that in the last 3 months you gave birth (???) I thought you are still pregnant.

We will stay in SG for a couple of years for sure, but I definitely want to move back to Sydney in the future – I love the life there and miss it so much

Congratulations! I can’t believe all of the changes you and your family our going through. I just moved to a new home last summer, and I can’t imagine doing all three things at once like you are.
It’s exhausting but for our own good.. so I guess we can’t complain!
