Hunter, Uncategorized OUT AND ABOUT! 17 May 2011

Me and demon-eyed baby

As we count down to our moving date, we have lunches and dinners booked in, every day of the week. It’s going to be busy, busy, busy!

I normally go out almost every day, dragging Hunter along with me πŸ˜› They say that babies < 6 months old are super easy to go out with, because it's before they can crawl and walk and create a huge ruckus. And it's very true!! I just trundle him along with me and he either watches my girl friends and I have lunch, gurgles and plays with them, or snoozes. He almost never cries outside… which is incredibly strange, as he certainly does fuss when he’s at home. Frankly, I find him more difficult to look after when we’re home, because he’ll create a ruckus if he doesn’t get enough attention (I think he got my attention-seeking gene, d’oh!!!) and he’ll do this sad ‘lil whine if he’s tired. But when we’re out, he’s placid and happy and will just nod off to sleep if he’s tired. I guess he reserves his naughtiness for the confines of our home, *lol*. This means that people look at me doubtfully when I declare that he drives me MAD at home sometimes, and think I’m being overly-dramatic. But believe me, there certainly are moments when it’s just us at home, when he drives me up the wall!

But I know all this happy-baby-outdoors is gonna VANISH in a few weeks or months as he gets older and can get into mischief, so for now, I’m going out daily and enjoying my freedom whilst it lasts πŸ˜›

My 4mo son is the same; angelic in public and not when it’s just family. I call it his public appearance policy. And I get the same coos of disbelief when I tell people he’s a master manipulator. But I love him to bits anyway :o)

You’re so right!!! I can’t imagine Hunter giving you a hard time at home with that angelic-looking face of his!!!!

hehe love the photo. My little nephew LOVES being outside, he too gets very fussy when he’s inside and we have to take him outside to stop his fuss so he can get to look at the garden, the trees, the cars, the sky etc, he’s almost 6 months old πŸ™‚

Hey Beverly,
Are you wearing a strapless bra in this picture? I’m stuck with non-wired bras with straps. Are we allowed to wear strapless while breastfeeding?
