Apache/2.4.52 (Ubuntu) Server at bot-master.com Port 80 gurgling and laughing away, and suddenly he became super quiet/introverted and would just lie there silently staring into space, instead of interacting eagerly with us. He had a fever but not anymore. He’s also had a loss of appetite and doing very few pees the past few days, and now he’s doing quite thick poos. His recent quiet/lethargic personality is SO weird and really pains me to see 🙁 It’s the first time I’ve had to deal with Hunter being sick in any way, so it’s really doing my head in 🙁 Fortunately he’s not crying, he’s too lethargic to cry!
Whatever he had (stomach bug?) he passed to me, because soon after I got REALLY sick. Had several bouts of awful vomiting, rushing to the toilet, crazy nausea, cold sweats, and every cell of my body feels all weirdly tingly and sore, like all the skin on my body got ripped off. Worst of all, my milk production stopped!!!!!!! Normally I am bursting with milk and struggle with milk milk milk everywhere, 24/7. Suddenly, my boobs are tiny and have barely any milk. It’s making me panic, which is bad since stress/worry also reduces milk production. I can’t quite believe I went from mega overproduction to no production in just a few hours 🙁 So I think it’s off to the doctor for us…
NOTE: I wrote the above last night and this morning.. we seem to be back to normal! Hunter was gurgling merrily during our song time this morning, and I feel almost as good as new. WHEW…
Anyway, about a week ago I bought this crinkle teddy that is fast becoming Hunter’s favourite toy. It is FANTASTIC for really young infants! It’s a flat teddy with this plastic crinkly material inside so when they squish it with their hands it crinkles and crackles. It also is made of various textures and materials for them to touch and play with, and the hands and feet are chewable and provide more textured stimulation for them. It’s such a simple, yet excellent toy. He can actually interact with it and keeps staring at its face as well as the different patterns. Plus, it’s a fantastic chew toy.
So happy with it. Plus it was cheap too. Highly recommended!

We did, we had a break for about 10 months, then got back together and got engaged shortly afterwards 🙂

Me too, I thought it was a bit weird and uninteresting. But now I realise that babies really do like that CRISP! CRINKLE! sound, lol. I’ll buy you one for your baby present ok? Will pass to you when I’m in SG!

Glad you are both feeling better – gastric flu is really the worse thing ever! Greg came down with it last December on the last day of our Disney holiday, and he was so, so, so miserable because he couldn’t drink his milk at all! All he could hold down in the end was some apple juice! So yah, definitely glad that Hunter didn’t get it bad! 🙂
Oh dear.. poor thing! Hunter is back to normal now so we managed to avoid going to the doctor. I’m really relieved, cos it really is stressful having a sick baby huh :X
