Nothing much to say today… but here’s even more photos of Hunter, because I just can’t help myself *blush*. Sorry!

Chilling out

Chris loves Hunter in this onesie πŸ˜‰

A semi-smile

Life’s pretty good when you’re a baby!

If he were mine, I wouldn’t be able to help myself either! What a cutie. Love the first picture – are his eyes actually a grey colour?

Awww I can’t get enough of Hunter’s pics!! I adore his burping face πŸ™‚ You can see the satisfaction in his facial expression!

He’s pretty robust looking, I must admit! Hopefully his growth slows a little soon though.. worried we’ll end up with a really giant overweight kid :X

Loving the photos, he’s adorable! Brings back so many memories with my little toddler. Yes, more photos are in order. In fact, you can even bombard us with more if you’re so inclined! πŸ˜‰

Looking at your pics of Hunter makes me feel broody again… Then, I hear Ollie’s shrieks of hunger and I am reminded (yet again) why there’ll be no additions to the family in the near future!!

ROFL! Yeah.. when Hunter’s grunting away at night (he is sooo loud) and I can’t sleep, it drives me insane. But then he smiles at me and all is forgotten!

Super mega love your photos! No need to apologize! You’re always welcomed to add even more photos!!!!

I would do the same too with our own baby! haha

Yeah, can’t wait!

When did you find out the gender of the baby? I’m still trying to decide if I want to announce the gender to the whole world or just like the others play the guessing game! Hahah.

Did you sorta know that Hunter would be a boy??? Even before the scan?

Hehe I like the first pic best.. he looks so calm. Such a difference to his screaming-for-milk face πŸ˜‰

from one mum to another

hi Bev
i hear you sister! i had the same (hyperlactation) problem with my first child and it was excruciating. went from an A-cup to a D-cup overnight and i just wanted to die! it didnt settle down til after 2nd month. sorry!
in the mean time, have you tried using warm compress/cloth to ease the engorgement? it isnt the same as pumping i.e. ur body wont think that milks is being consumed by baby hence it wont produce the same amount to replace those lost. try to engage the let down reflex by having a warm shower and using warm compress as it is a major way to settle the over supply.

i was also advised by my doctor to only pump when you are really uncomfortable (every few hours) and to stop pumping once your milk is only dripping with the rhythm of the breast pump.
i also used cold packs to ease the discomfort of the engorgement while i slept.
good luck. i can offer more info so i can email if you wish.

Ohhhh I hope 2nd month is really it.. I don’t think I can handle it any longer :X
I now breastfeed if I’ve pumped earlier, so i’m not as ‘full’ and it’s not as forceful. Seems to work but hard to coordinate the schedule so I still Pump-feed maybe 80% of the time. At least the pain is slowly going down now… thank goodness!!
