Here’s a little random skincare
Some of the stuff below were repeat-purchases of skincare that I just can’t live without. Others are new and purchased because it looked cute or seemed useful. My skin, in general, is pretty well behaved – few breakouts, not too oily or not too dry. I attribute it to the awesome skincare products that I’ve whittled down to an art, over the past few years of “product testing” on my own skin 😉
Anyway…. here goes:
Stash of skincare (and big bag of chocs) that I bought whilst in Australia
Trilogy 100% organic rosehip oil
Packed with antioxidants, every woman should own
a bottle of rosehip oil. I use mine at night
(every 2nd day) for really soft glowy skin.
Ellis Faas blush
I bought this solely ‘cos the packaging is awesome 😉
Surprisingly, the blush rocks. Creamy yet has great
staying power! Beautifully pigmented too. Want more.
Enormous Lash serum
Jaw-droppingly expensive. Turns out, it does work…!
Mum asked “do you have fake eyelashes on?” when she saw me.
However, only a small improvement IMHO, not worth the price.
Elemental Herbology’s Cell Food
Called “radiance in a bottle”, it’s a wonderful serum.
Smells divine, goes on like a dream, and makes my skin
really nice in the morning.
Rationale rejuvenating serum
Vitamin C 15% + Vitamin A 1% + Vitamin E 0.1% brightens,
clears, smoothes and softens skin tone and texture.
I use it every 2nd day in the morning.
Rationale niacinamide serum
10% niacinamide. A total staple for me.
Can’t live without! I use it every 2nd day,
before the rejuvenating serum above.
Nude Skincare’s replenishing night oil
LOVE the packaging and scent! A beautiful moisturizer at
night time, though the price makes my toes curl…
Kiehl’s Curl Defining Spray
I like the spray bottle and how light and non-greasy it was,
but it needs to be used after shine serum as if you put
anything on your hair after the spray, it dissolves the curl effect.
