Haven’t done a self-absorbed “Hey everyone! It’s a photo of me!” post in months, I think. Partly because I think it’s weird/vain to take a photo of yourself just standing/sitting there, and partly because I haven’t had anything interesting to photograph anyway 😛 But I bought this cutest little Japanese dress and wore it the other day, so figured it would be the perfect photo op!
It’s a pinstripe number, baby blue and white, and ties up at the bustline and flares out at the skirt. Considering Shanghai is now completely STINKING HOT (as humid as Singapore, but hotter than Singapore… believe it or not), you basically have to run around naked and even so, you’re still hot. This dress is probably the least I can wear without drawing weird looks, so it’s the perfect summer outfit 🙂 Airy and cool, and very light. Plus, it’s so girly and adorable! Only downside is that when I walk around with Chris, he looks like he’s picked up a little schoolgirl. Hrrrmmm.

Very cute! Question: How do you keep your makeup from sliding off in the humidity?
Pretty much by wearing almost none 😛 In these pics we were going out to the movies so we didn’t sweat, so I wore blush, concealer, lipgloss and mascara. But on regular days I just use concealer!
