Our house pet-sitter sent us a whole bunch of cuuute photos of Misty and Star, so we would be less nervous about being apart from them. How sweet! They are great by the way, for under US$9 per day they’ll come round to our place and feed the ferrets, clean poo, and play with them for 1 hour. And that’s actually considered $$$ for China ‘cos it’s an English-speaking boutique petstore and their clientele are mostly expats living in our compound. I reckon we could get 1/3 the price if we could a local petstore, but we thought they were awesome and are just downstairs, so it was easiest.

I think that it’s great that you take such good care of Star and Misty. I never even thought about how your pets get taken care of when you and Chris are traveling a lot together. Good for you! I truly admire that!
So far we haven’t travelled together for more than a few days, so we’ve been ok. But they had to for this trip, and also when we get married. I get so worried when I think about us being away from our babies for 3 weeks! 🙁

That’s so cute! I had the same type of service when I was away from my cat, but instead of photos, the pet-sitters kept a daily diary from the point of view of my cat. “Dear Diary, today a lady came and played with me. Hooray!” It was so sweet 🙂

my dogs cost me $50 per day (per dog) and they have to be cooped in little cages with other unfriendly pets.. boohoo..
