I’ve never ever been to Cabramatta but it’s okay because I’m not fond of Viet food.
The T&Co scarf look lovely on you! the colour is gorgeous!!

they LOVE beansprouts for everything!! for a beansprout lover like me, its heaven! for a non-eater, i believe its super irritating to pick each out!

the soup look ooh-lala on photos!!

lol thats funny. I got driven there after Paramatta yesterday. I heard it’s pretty dangerous, but it didn’t look bad to me at all πŸ™‚

xox

aaah you always eat so many things that I’ve never tasted before and that I want to try! Except for the hallucinogen coffee, lol!

Pho and more

There is a REALLY good Pho restaurant in Bankstown, almost diagonally opposite the Bankstown Workers Club. It’s called “An”, and ONLY serves pho – and some desserts of course! You’re expected to just ask for whatever ingredients you want, as pho is the only main they serve – no noodles, no vermicelli, etc. Very clean, very efficient, not cheap but they give a good serving size. Try the large size if you wanna get blown away at a good lunch serving.

The fruit jellies as you call them are very typical of thailand, we found them everywhere when we were there, although it has started to be introduced into cabramatta and some other asian outlets.

Re: Pho and more

OH we went there just a few weeks ago!!!!! Hehe what a coincidence. You just reminded me to do my photos and post them too πŸ™‚

Re: Pho and more

Hahaha, have food will hunt. Now all I need is to go to Thai La Ong for my usual Tom Yum Goong (Newtown). So good! And maybe then stroll down to Clem’s Fried Chicken for Pressure Cooked Deep Fried Chicken. OMG!!!!!!

wow that place IS fancy for Cabramatta! I love Cab though the food is so authentic and I go there to buy asian sauces etc its cheaper and much better!

At least hunter connection’s reasonable… but i think i like eastwood’s the best here in central sydney.

is sugar cane ‘famous’?? i had no idea!

ok, its 6am over here now and your blog is seriously making me hungry! I want some pho NOW!!! They look soooo good. I’ve always loved vietnamese food especially pho. Yum! I was in new york recently and tried their vietnamese food and they were really really good and authentic (i think!) too. Ugh I think I’m going to be dreaming of pho tonight lol =/

btw, about the coffee causing hallucinations thing – omg tell me about it. For some reason, my body cant seem to take strong coffee (or any caffeine for that matter) anymore. So 2 months back I’ve officially converted to decaf. Its sad because i love coffee and want the real stuff!

I adore pho too.. one of my fave foods, esp cos it’s pretty healthy too!

I usually can take coffee just fine, even at night, but maaaan this Viet coffee was really strong or something, it was SO weird and freak!
