Those books look lovely. I was at Borders a few days ago and randomly looked at a wedding organiser book too, was thinking of my cousin who is getting married! You must be so excited… π
I find the other books not that useful but the planner is just awesome π

you have the makings of a bridezilla…i see it already, don’t deny it?
why is it that the girls who’ve been ‘planning their wedding since they were 5’ end up the most chill and laid back brides and the girls who never thought of it turn in the ones who go crazy planning every last detail?!?!?!
i can’t wait to read your blog during the wedding planning!!!!! muahaha
Uh geez that was rude
just have fun with it, it’s wedding fever in North America (maybe it will be less so, now that the economy is cooling down), and as lianvee said: try not to lose your mind. lol.
Frankly if you’re going to denounce someone, at least know them in real life to make an informed decisiont. How in the world would you know exactly how I’m acting, especially when my actual friends are saying that we’re pretty chill and certainly not “going crazy planning every last detail” – which frankly I’d probably love doing later, i love aesthetics and detail. How very charming of you.
you have the makings of an pessimistic poster…i see it already, don’t deny it?
why is it that the girls who know Bev personally always say the sweetest things about her and the people who have had shitty personal experiences and want to project their own negative feelings are the ones who go crazy denouncing others?!?!?!
i can’t wait to see how beautiful our wedding will be, since we’re planning it together!!!! muahaha
If you get a chance, you should check out bridal/wedding expos. You can get a ton of ideas and eat lots of wedding cake samples. Haha! π
BTW…did you see that movie *27 Dresses*? It’s a really cute wedding movie. I really loved it! *^^*
I think there was actually one about 2 months ago.. so I missed it, d’oh! π Will have to look out for the next one..
Ya that movie was super cute, I like Katherine Heigl too!
I can’t wait to see your wedding planing entries!
I love the idea of putting pearls in the flower vase like on your book, it’s so pretty.
It’s amazing how creative some people are! I really don’t have any idea or creativity in me haha, it’s good that the book gives great ideas π
Good thing you bought that book about etiquette. I unintentionally pissed my uncle off about the table seating arrangement. That was not fun at all.
Ohhhhhh yes that’s exactly the reason! Even down to the things like what order everyone stands in to greet everyone.. I didn’t even know, haha!

hehe! π And the mad buying has started!
I am looking at hotels in Singapore.. and nothing beats Bali’s Ritz π
I haven’t seen it but I def don’t doubt you! π As it is we’re already having trouble deciding between AU and SG.. so we better not add a 3rd option hehehe
Heh! You should do both maybe, unless your relatives and pal in SG are ok with travelling to aussie.
Maybe do a small one in SG and a big fun one in aussie π The packages for SG small ones are not too expensive. If you need help in anyway, feel free to ask!
Will definitely have 2 receptions but not confirmed if we want the wedding in SG or AU yet….! Too many decisions π
hahaha. dun fret! must have fun doing the planning process, its once in a life time!!
Happy Planning! If you know what you want, it will be a very easy process. No matter what, HAVE FUN!!!!!!!
It’ll be so nice once everything falls into place! π

Ohhhhhh yes that’s exactly the reason! Even down to the things like what order everyone stands in to greet everyone.. I didn’t even know, haha!
Good stuff getting started. I would have gone to the library to save money on books. Although I don’t even have a boyfriend, I know that if I got engaged I would a every single wedding magazine and start shopping for a dress (because that’s the most fun!)
The libraries around here ain’t so good :X If I were in SG I Would def do that, i will when we’re back there for 2 weeks over Christmas!
I love those books, I have so much fun going through them. Though I never had one for my own wedding. I didn’t even really PLAN my own lol My mother in law and I sat down and decided what I wanted and then when I flew back home, I spent 4 months resisting some of the dumber ideas via my fiance π It was a lovely day though, our wedding wasn’t big, maybe three dozen people including us.
I do like the magazines and all the pretty pics, though most of it’s pretty unrealistic I think!!
Ahh you’re lucky it was all planned for you. Then again, I’m so into little details and pretty things I’d insist on doing it meself, haha!
wow u must be one of the most hardworking brides ever! i’ve bought like a couple of wedding mags but that’s about it π
Heheh haven’t even started, but I like seeing a nice stack of wedding stuff on my coffee table, makes me FEEL like all the work’s done. haha!
hehe! π And the mad buying has started!

Can’t believe you actually bought books! I honestly couldn’t be bothered when I was organising mine. My mum used to bake nestum/cereal cookies and I remember they were yummy!
They make me feel like I’m organised, haha. Also I need help on what to actually think about/do….. too clueless :X
Ahhh do you have the recipe?!??!!
Wedding Venue?
So Singapore or Australia? Or Both?
Re: Wedding Venue?

Happy Planning! If you know what you want, it will be a very easy process. No matter what, HAVE FUN!!!!!!!

Good bunch of books! Will have to have a browse through them π Lol re the cookies…I’m hoping that hasn’t happened with tonight’s dessert π
Oooo actually you should just drop round when Chris is over and borrow it when I’m away!
The dessert was soooooo yum, thanks for making it again π
Thanks love, I might, but still not sure I can face starting to organise it!
I’m just glad the tarts worked out! Will post the recipe soon π

Hehe the first part’s the most difficiult, setting the date/location. After that, I think it’ll just be fun!
Lol… it sure sucks being the bride… *puts feet up* π
Pah!
Chris is being v sweet though and reading it all and planning together.. it’s why he’s the best guy in the world (erm, apart from you)!!!! π π

I love all the ideas! Don’t know if I can actually be bothered doing any though.. hahaah
Wow you’re heaps more organised than me! I’m getting married in August and haven’t even found my dress yet. /sigh
