So I got the HTC touch dual 😀
It hasn’t been released in Australia yet, and retails $900 here, but Chris got it through Microsoft and so it was only $600, half of which was (very generously) paid for by Arnaud, since he killed my phone when he threw me into the pool during my birthday party! So all up, it was a good deal for me 😛 It’s come to the point where I just need a PDA phone.. as the past 3 months have been COMPLETELY MANIC for me. I’ve never been so busy/stressed in my life from work – and on the one hand I do love it because I love my work, but on the other hand it’s really wearing me out. So part of helping me manage the stress is ensuring I stay organised and have my work calendar and emails with me at all times.
The phone is bloody brilliant. It’s smooth, thin and sexy. I originally wanted to get the iPhone but then heard a lot of comparisons ranking this HTC touch dual as superior in terms of functionality, so I went for that instead. The iPhone still looks sexier IMHO though 😛 I adore my new HTC – it’s simple to use yet has SO many functions, and I’m just excited at finally being super organised 24/7 now!

In other non-related yet related news, Alannah Hill had a private VIP sale (sounds really exclusive but I think most people that spend a lot at the store get invited anyway!) so I ended up caving in and buying 2 things I’ve been eyeing for yonks.. this super duper squishy Alannah Hill black wallet, with cute cats/stars embroidered on it! It’s so incredibly soft and buttery, very very similar in texture to a Balenciaga bag. Also got a Alannah Hill cashmere cardi which is incredibly soft and thin, so comfy!! It has large/batwing arms so I can just slip into it easily, and it keeps me really warm. Also love the jewelled detailing all down the trim 🙂
Cutest thing was that we were given Alannah Hill’s favourite chocolates shipped from Melbourne. They were almost too pretty to eat! The lovely SA gave me two since she saw me salivating when she gave me the 1st one 😉

I got the version before that … the one without the slide keyboard. Keyboard woulda been handy, but I heart the phone 🙂 I just needed something to keep me in sync with calendar, mails, notes and contacts and was kinda sick of the Nokia suite.
It’s so handy hey! I’m taking awhile to learn the Transcriber thingy though, and I think I’d prefer an actual keyboard like the Blackberry, but those are just too bulky :X

My phone isn’t a PDA but I have my emails and the calendar syncs with my computer- it’s SO CONVENIENT! And it makes it a lot harder to forget things 🙂

I also now have gmail and Google calendar on it so I’m all set. wooooo! I agree, can’t survive without being organised 😛

Nope, it’s pretty much awesome IMHO! Only that I can’t get the transcriber to work properly cos i dunno how to ‘write’ properly on the screen and have to learn….
The phone is cool. Not as cool as an iphone (hehe) but still VERY cool. I also love your AH purchases. How could you not have taken me with you? Bad Bev!

damn girl you have a lot of credit cards in your wallet! You don’t want the iphone, its more of a toy if anything, besides the evil apple man dropped the price of it 2 months after it was released. yes ppl here were beyond mad…enjoy your new phone. iphone gets greasy really fast esp if you use it like a phone and talk on it.
