Sushi Tei opened their first branch in Australia in September and since then I’ve been… maybe 10 times? It’s about a 1min walk from where I live and they serve the nicest Japanese food at a really reasonable price, so it’s not hard to see why my friends and I are all addicted to the place 😉 It’s much nicer-looking than the branches in Singapore, more restaurant-style and a bit fancier. Expect to pay $20-30 for a full seafood meal, which is a great deal! You can opt for their regular box-meals for around $10 though, a real bargain considering it’s right in the City.
We always tend to order the same dishes, most of which are pictured below. The food is super-fresh, brightly coloured and super tasty.. a total winner for just a nice meal with friends. Just wish it was a bit closer to the office, so we could have lunch there 3x a week, every week 😉

I had sushi for lunch today, but it was a real dud. So I was highly unimpressed. I must go to Sydney soon, just for seafood 😀 And sushi.
I love tataki beef! It’s so delicious!!!!
Oh it’s awful when sushi isn’t great, i always get so grumpy (and a bit scared that i’ll get sick)! we have crap sushi here too sometimes, at some places :X

I need to remind myself NOT to look at your journal before a meal. No wonder I never crave what I am making…your food posts make me want what you are posting!!! Now I have to find a yummy sushi place here in CA that looks remotley like something you have in your pictures. HEHE!!!

I would eat alot more sushi if here in Denmark cost the same as in Australia!!!! Gosh here sushi are so ridiculously expensive!

Pregnant? Oh my. Funny though, because whenever I have broiled squid, I try to pick out the pregnant ones too.
And I get massive sushi cravings as well – I think I’ve eaten it 3 times in the past week. My poor wallet! Wish I could find a good but cheap sushi place around here . . .
I’ve had Japanese heaps this week too, but i can’t get enough of it!
