Strawberrynet were having a cool Aussies-only sale.. so I got a La Prairie de-sensitizing cleanser for waaaay cheaper than retail. It has fab reviews on Makeupalley, so I figured I’ll give it a whirl. I’m still addicted to Jurlique’s Face Wash Cream but only use it in the mornings since it’s a mild exfoliant. This La Prairie one will be good for the evening. My order, on top of the discount, came with a FREE! Stila lipstick in ‘Stella’, which I basically ordered “blind” as I had no idea what colour it was. Turns out it’s a really nice berry red. Cream-based, it really sits on my lips well and for ages, and I like how the colour can be built up. I never use lipsticks (don’t like the way they feel/taste on my lips) so I’m quite impressed with this one.

Anyway, went to the absolutely spectacular Opera Bar after work to meet up with ex-Microsoft workmates for some drinks. The bar is spectacular, and beautiful all lit up under the night sky.

LaPrairie skin care is really pricy, I’m glad you got a good deal on it. Have you ever tried using a lipbrush to apply your lipstick instead from out of the tube? I used to not be a big fan of lipstick either, but I found application does make a difference. The Opera Bar looks amazing, I’m sure it would be a cool tourist attraction. Also, I love the top that you’re wearing the pic showing off your Balenciaga bag.
I have a lipbrush but I’m all too lazy to use it 😛 I’ll give it a shot though, the last time I used it was the last time I trialled a lipstick.. 3 years ago I think :O

I LOVE the colour too! The Mini twiggy holds the same as the First for me, but doesn’t look as ‘stuffed’ as the First because of the shape, but I sitll carry around jumpers and waterbottles with me so it’s still too small!
