This is totally off topic, but did you fly out to Singapore on the 8th of March? I think I saw you at the airport(if it is you, you are tiny!), I meant to comment earlier but I totally forgot until I got back.

Re: Airport
I was too busy trying to control myself over the duty free shopping, and by the time I realised it was too late.
you’re so lucky to live in australia where you can get singaporean food easily!
Ahh kind of! It’s not EXACTLY the same and it’s about 3x or more the price in SG.. but close enough when I’m homesick for local food π
true…
but when I go to my Chinatown, I always see Singapore beehoon and that’s it π Once I ordered chili crab and it was curry!!! π
yeah, and Singapore doesn’t even HAVE “singapore beehoon” :X Neither does SG have “singapore noodles”! no such thing π

Fabulous post. I loved the first picture of the bar. I like Chris’ leather jacket. The orchids are really beautiful. I love Pocky sticks, I haven’t had them in a long time.
Leather jackets are the best in winter.. they keep you sooo warm!
food entries again!! yum!
but compared to singapore’s real deal, can fight?
Yes! But much much more expensive :X $350 for 7 people.. in SG I can probably get it for $150
Wow that chai tow kueh looks delicious! I love those chuncky pieces.
The flavour was spot on, which I loved! I prefer the pieces smaller though – more sauce and flavour to go around π
