I have a free account, but ive had paid for the last 3 years or so. i just recently let it run out simply because im not embedding it in my idreamofgina.com website anymore so i dont really need it. i think its worth the money though, seeing as how inexpensive it is. ill probably upgrade again soon cause i miss having lots of userpics 🙂

Early adoptors are similar to paid accounts.. BUT i just love the day style functionality (once I can get it to work) and the photo album! 😀
I’d like to have a paid account some day, not to customize my journal but you know just to pay for the great service. I really don’t mind paying when it’s for something good !

Well, free and early adopter accounts obviously last forever. But paid accounts are only paid for a certain period – you have to renew them or they revert to free, or in your case, early adopter. Permanent accounts are the same as paid accounts (plus extra icons) but they don’t run out!

am no pro at this yet.. but perhaps Modify Journal is for setting the mood icons only? try going to the Customise Journal page, and look for themes (drop-down). if you’ve modified anything, there should be a theme with #XXXXXXX. try selecting it if it’s there? 🙂
I dooo it’s my first paid LJ before so I’m going a bit batty with it, hehe. I LOVE the pics functionality! NOw I can have a photo album with all my food and fashion and ferret photos *glee*
I selected the day theme I want, but it still doesn’t show up! ahhhh
I love the Scrapbook (pics) function too! one of the reasons why I’m still using paid. hee.
