Hee, well I am toooo ‘cos I’m waiting for dinner now!!
Your mom’s dishes look amazing and the restaurant you visited looks so nice.
I love mum’s cooking! It never fails to make my tummy pleased :)~
I am missing that kind of omelettes!!!!!!
It’s so easy to cook too! I watched, and gonna make it myself :)~
I miss good ‘ol home cooked food SO MUCH sometimes!
Hehe Chris’ mum’s like yours.. she doesn’t cook at all, but his dad does bbq’s!
The restaurant looks really nice. I love to eat in bright places. I’m always complaining about the dim lighting in most restaurants that I go to. It looks like it has a nice view of the water too!
Well it was darker since it was night-time, but the harbour has sparkling lights so it’s pretty π I don’t mind dim lighting in restaurants though.. it’s romantic, who knows what i’m eating though, lol!
I agree about the romantic factor. I guess under the right circumstances, I don’t mind eating in dim lights π
I one time heard a story about a restaurant, I think in Switzerland, called Blind Cow, where you eat in complete darkness. They take your order, then they take your cell phones or glowing watches and such, and then they lead you in through a pitch black dining area. Waitresses wear bells on their shoes and snap their fingers to help them guide their way around and not run into each other. I’m intrigued! (Hehe π There’s a difference between me straining to see in dim lighting and completing forgoing vision in the utter darkness)
WOW that sounds insane! they could serve you crap and you wouldn’t know π I’d still want to try it out though..

Yeah maybe i’ll “grow” talents once I’m married and have kids, haha!
Maybe your mum could mail me some tomato and ginger prawns? π
We actually cheated with that dish π We used a packet sauce, lol! But it’s my favourite sauce and I get it all the time.. you just pour it on top of the prawns and that’s it – it’s DEEELISH
wah, amazing view!!
making me hungry again… π
Any of the restaurants around King Stree Wharf have killer views.. and they’re not *insanely* expensive too! π

Beautiful weather! What an awesome view! I wish it were Spring here, still. It just turned Autumn. Bleh.
That is a good price for all four of you. 100-150 day I bet that stuff just about melts in your mouth!
Happy anniversary to your parents! Yay!
Something about your food pictures with egg in them makes my mouth water lol. I love egg when it’s served differently than the normal breakfasty stuff we have here!
Ginger chicken yum!
oops i didn’t finish lol. Is that last one Bok Choy? Sorry I’m always full of food questions. I’m a curious George. π‘
Last one was Kailan :)~
Aww you guys are going into winter :X I do love spring/summer!
Mum’s egg omelette is soooo good :)~
Happy anniversary to them!!!
Yum, a thick steak sounds fabulous now!
Steak is sooo good, plus red meat is good for you too, I think!
So how many years have your parents been married? Yeah my mum is a whizz in the kitchen too. She can cook out of anything and does it so quickly too. Unfortunately I am hopeless and don’t even like cooking and my boyfriend wonders the same thing as yours π why I can’t be more like my mum.. bummer.
