i’ve promised to update u on the ceramic perm that my frd had done and it was great… Maybe after a couple of weeks it will even look more natural. she did it for $260 after discounts at Vogue. Original price is $320. And she said it’s worth every cent. now she got me tempted. haha
Wow $260 is pretty good! Is it really curly now though? Also what sort of upkeep does she need after every wash? I fear I’ll have to blow dry or twist or do something, lol. I like wash-and-go hair!
the maintenance is pretty low for the ceramic perm it’s not like the traditional curls which those aunties went for i believe.. LOL wash-and-go is possible..
It looks cute π
*grin* Thanks! I really really like it like that.. a bit of a change!

Permed hair is never wash and go, requires more styling compared to straight hair. Also you can’t really achieve such loose curls with perming, at least not till the perm grows out after a couple of months.
Bummer :X I guess that’s why I’ve always had straight hair… never need to fuss with it every morning!
oooh, that’s *so* cute! π
Hehe thanks.. I like the first pic more, but the 2nd’s clearer. Seriously thinking of getting it done permanently!
I would, it looks gorgeous!
I think it actually suits you better than TR’ed straight hair, it looks very feminine and flirty.
Oh that’s EXACTLY the words I was after! I really do love the waves – wanna find out if it’s wash-and-go if I perm or if I still need to style (too lazy to do that!)
yes you shld! it really still looks nice after so long. like in those japanese hair magzines. maybe i shld try using my wet2straight iron on mine. hehe. ur pink (or is it blue) hair clip looks pretty too. where is frm?
I REALLY want to get it done permanently, but scared it’s hard to upkeep, like I still need to blowdry to create glossy waves every day! :X Wish I could find someone that has done it and ask..
The hair clip is actually white gemstones! It’s Michel Negrin – try searching on eBay π
ooh very nice! does it dry out your hair a lot? i really want to get that done too…
but i’m so afraid my hair’s so thin it’ll just fall out or frizzle!
meanwhile, i think it suits you better than ironed out hair!
My hair was just blow-dried in the pics.. but for perms, I think it’s the same ‘damage’ as straightening.. I have thin hair too, but lots of it!
I’ve always straightened but now that I think about it, it’s just so typical of Asian hair.. maybe waves is more interesting after all π
mine just gets so limp coz it’s so thin … and so little! i am SO going to be bald one day :S
LImp hair is soooo good.. I have thin hair but TONS of it, so it gets so fluffy, it drives me nuts :X
