I think I got some as a gift once. They smell so strong! To me it smelled like baby poo, but everyone else seemed to like it. ?!?!

I got similar flowers like that last year for my birthday from my boyfriend. They were sooo big, pink and beautiful. Unfortunately I didn’t realise they had so much pollen (not to mention fragrance like everyone has said) and ended up getting asthma, and had to throw them out.. I didn’t know whether to curse the flowers or my stupid body cos they were so beautiful but I couldn’t have them anywhere near me! 🙁

oh dear!! You can actually ‘pick off’ the pollen parts, a lot of stores do it so it doesn’t cause allergies and doen’t stain stuff!

i went to proflowers.com last year and bought a bouquet of those lilies in a vase for my mom. she LOVED them. they are such beautiful flowers.

I didn’t know that was their name. A guy that went to a formal event with me got a big bouquet of them as a “thank you for being my date” type gesture.. and I remember I LOVED them. I wasn’t overly blown away when I first got them, cos they weren’t in full bloom.. but the next morning they were absolutely beautiful.
