Oh my gosh… I hope that this week gets better for you, hun. It hasn’t exactly gotten off on a good note so far. πŸ™

So, Sorry!

At least everyone riding was ok! I had the almost the same thing happen to me! Then driving the rental car that same week someone smacked into me again. Sheesh! Good thing your folks can help you out on this one.

Re: So, Sorry!

Yeah, was worried we’d get whiplash or something πŸ™ But UGH< what bad luck to have the rental car hit too!! Right now I'm just catching a bus to work and so far so good *crosses fingers*

Hey Bev, sorry to hear about your car. I hope you get the repairs done really soon. I was involved in an accident with my pretty new car last year too, both bumpers got smashed quite lightly but the repairs took 6 long weeks! I had to keep chasing the workshop every week! Shouldn’t affect your insurance at all, plus you had witness in your car that you didn’t brake or anything so don’t worry about that!

SIX weeks?!?! Oh no….. I hope mine doesn’t take that long, I was optimistically thinking I could drive it in, they just change the bumper and all, and I drive off :X

Hee – I could do with a clover actually! But I had great luck with the bus today (came exactly when I got to the bus stop) so hopefully the luck is changing πŸ˜‰

Hi Bev, I am so sorry to hear about the accident. I myself have crunched my car for at least 5 times (usually when I was parking or reversing!) but I am a good driver πŸ˜›

I don’t know about the law in Oz but here, if someone rear-ended you, that person is automatically at fault because he/she was driving too close to your car. Hope you sort out the problem soon πŸ™‚

Hey, you sho uld get those sensors on the car that beep madly when you’re parking/reversing, so you know when to stop – my cousins’ car has that and apparently it’s really good πŸ™‚

The law is the same here – so fortunately there’s no argument on who was in the wrong!

Heh..my hubby ended up putting those small rounded mirrors on both sides of the sideview mirrors (is that what they are called?) and they helped tremendously πŸ˜‰

Boy, all kinds of bad things have been happening to you lately! If it weren’t such a headache it’d be amusing, eh? Hope things look up soon!

Haha yeah I suppose I’ll laugh at this later.. but right now, it’s a HEADACHE trying to arrange transport for the next week! ;(

i had a similar thing happen to me, only it was my fault… it is a pain,,,, Man and Australian’s are crazy drivers in a rush, i bet they were ticked off, i remember what it was like when i went their…. thank the Lord i lived to tell about it, haha

If you think aussie drivers are crazy, try Singapore πŸ˜‰ But in the city here, it’s almost as bad, I agree! I just hate traffic πŸ™

aww well im glad you were not in it! I dont know if you remember but a few years ago I was in the hospital from some jack ass who rear ended us.

Yeah I definitely remember.. mine wasn’t as serious though! None of us were hurt, fortunately, but the car’s a bit miserable looking πŸ™ And going a week without the car is a real pain, ‘cos I need to get to/from work etc πŸ™

I think that almost always happens with newer cars. I crunched mine after having it for about 5 months…It was my fault though…Was in a parking lot and backed up right into a lady…Whoops…….A nice lovely smashed up bumper!

It hurts when you look at your car all banged up πŸ™ But fortunately mine’s also the bumper too so it can be replaced easily (I think)!

Aww man, seems like you’re going through a bad patch or something. But I agree, it’s good to have your parents around, at least you’ll have sound advice! Sorry about the car, that really does suck. I hope you have much better days ahead!! πŸ™‚

Thanks πŸ™‚ Well I guess nothing more can happen this week since it’s all already happened.. *touch wood*!
