The wheellock feature is actually a safely feature that makes sure that you are SURE that you are going straight. Sometimes you come back to your parked car after a long stretch of time and have forgotten that the wheels are not facing forward. You start the car thinking that it’s going to move forward, but instead it goes off somewhere else instead and you may end up hitting something that’s in the way (esp at the corners!).
So if you think of it that way, you’ll be grateful they put a wheel- lock feature in! 🙂
Ohhh that does make sense (to the totally clueless me about cars).. cept if you only turn the wheel half-way and not full lock, you could still go off somewhere else 😛 But I guess better than nothing, right?!

i love the wheellock. it makes me feel safe that A. the car isn’t going to roll down some steep embankment (as long as it’s locked with the wheels facing the curb) and B. that nobody can come in and just quickly turn on my car and steal it.!
Oh! I never thought of the fact that it slows a person down if they try and steal the car.. I don’t know why they don’t just ALWAYS lock the wheels though, instead of just when it’s turned to the far-right or far-left.. at least i won’t freak out next time it happens 😉

It’s soo cool, and I love it when the chef serves me, like I’ve got a personal chef (albeit for an hour or so only..haha). Good luck with the pressie! =)
