I just too a few lessons for actual driving and I was a maniac, we have to learn to drive manual gear cars here, no such thing as auto for learners *grumbles* Its a little silly cause we are all gonna get auto cars , ya ? Good luck for yr next driving test!
I found stilafairy on MUA but I didn’t buy from her yet, cause I have a tangs voucher so I went to the stila counter to see what catches my eye. Unfortunately, there are so many items that is unavailable in SG ( like the paint can , and the stila winter palette ) =( I so so so love the paint can , even thou I have no idea what it is =) It just looks so so yummy and sweet in yr pics !
How’s the lip and cheeks you bought , the colors are really lovely. Can we use it on the eyes? I have really sensitive skin so I don’t use blusher actually.
Have you tried the lip glaze ? Is it that fabulous ? I have all the colors for eye glaze but not the lip . I happen to find paying SGD$42 for a lip gloss is a little too extravagant for me. Would it be cheaper to buy from stilafairy in this case? She will have to ship to SG to me and I think shipping is high from the US ?

In SG, you can get your license for about $3000.. but mine ended up being $4000 cos I had so many more lessons than the required ;( I know I should learn manual *just in case*, but I”m too lazy, haha!

The lips & cheeks palette can be used as e/s, but it’s creamy so it might crease.. but the blue-colored palette with 6 e/s in it is REALLY good! I like their lipglazes too – very fun flavours and really shiny 🙂 They’re about SG$65 here so it’s much cheaper in SG! But if you buy from the US, it’s about SG$40 so it’s even cheaper… and shipping was US$8 flat rate so you can buy heaps of stuff and it’s still the same price 🙂

Man, that $40 could’ve been spent on food or gas! You should complain to the medical facility about that doctor if he’s just going to make sloppy assumptions about your condition. If it turns out to be something more serious that leaves scars or whatnot, he could be held liable for negligence…but why allow that to happen? Explain your situation and see if you can get a second opinion without having to pay again.

Chris was pretty annoyed and wants to write in to the medical place to complain – imagine if he was giving someone some serious treatment or diagnosing something super important?! Makes me suspicious of doctors now.. as in, do they REALLY know what they’re looking at to diagnose it? 🙁

I bought the lips and cheeks palette a few weeks ago and really like it as the case is so pink and beautiful – very nice for me to slip it in my handbag and put colours on the go (which I’m doing more often these days). However, it’s my first time with creamy cheek color so am not used to using my fingers to smear the cheek color on my cheeks (takes longer to do that) but realize that the cheek colour stays on longer that way. Was wondering have you seen Paula Begoun’s book on “Don’t go to the cosmetics counter without me” where she provides reviews of the major cosmetics. She’s got a website too at http://www.cosmeticsCop.com. How are you liking the Deluxe assortment box? Looks really cool and love the colours!
I do like cream blushes more – they last longer on me like you said 🙂 I really like NARS blushes though cos even though they’re powder, they’re so pigmented!
Im a big fan of Paula’s.. have all her books and most of her products 🙂

Well, I bought mine from Sephora, so returning it was easy. I’ve never returned to Saks though. First of all I thought they were all CC’s. It turned out that the first 3 (or was it 2?) were lip glosses and the others were for the cheeks. the lip stuff was SO SHEER it was sad, like I like sheer stuff but it was even too sheer for me. Also when it arrived everything was very oily. {?!) The cheek colors just didn’t suit me well. So back it went.

She charged my card on 5 Nov, the day after I placed the order over the phone. It’s been more than a month now. I’ve contacted her and she’s still checking the order and hasn’t got back to me.
Hrm it’s been awhile.. it shouldn’t take that long 🙁 Try calling her again and see? She’s really busy all the time so she could’ve accidently forgotten! Hope you get it soon though, and she’s awesome so you’ll probably get heaps of extras 🙂

All I know is that I am on a serious Shiseido kick. My mum sent me some of their latest eyeshadows (creamy, in metallic shades).. and I wear that ALL THE TIME. haha. I used to wear sooo much eye makeup all throughout high school. Nothing’s really changed. 😀
Heh I’ve never tried Shiseido’s eyeshadows.. but I really like their Pureness cleansing wipes! I’m the exact opposite – I didn’t even KNOW what makeup was in high school, let alone use it.. but since I turned 20, I just went nuts 😉

Makes me suspicious of doctors now.. as in, do they REALLY know what they’re looking at to diagnose it? 🙁

(Jac) My bf got the Deluxe Assortment for my X’mas pressie (I know, it’s way ahead! *lol*) and I love it too! Only thing is that I find it difficult to get the stuff out from the tiny tin thingies, and sometimes it makes that ‘help!-my-hair’s-standing-up’ kinda squeak! *arg* O well, I still love it though.
Also, how did you order your Stila stuff? I thought there’s no webbie handling international Stila orders? Thanks! =)

Haha yeah the tins don’t open/close too well, but they’re still cute. I love the Sweet lip polish and I love all the e/s in it. Have you lighted the candle yet? i’m too scared to cos it’s so small it’ll go after half hour or something 😛

Oo, yup the Sweet Lip Polish is my fav too! Guava Lipglaze is nice also. Nope, it’s soo tiny! Same here, I think it’ll be gone in a few minutes!

I haven’t tried the Guava.. I have it in the normal form and in the 10-pan mixable duos, so I’m thinking of just swapping it away. I do like how cute and little the tins are though 🙂
Def order from Adrienne, she’s great! I paid about AU$80 for mine so it was a bit cheaper than in SG..

I bought the lips and cheeks palette a few weeks ago and really like it as the case is so pink and beautiful – very nice for me to slip it in my handbag and put colours on the go (which I’m doing more often these days). However, it’s my first time with creamy cheek color so am not used to using my fingers to smear the cheek color on my cheeks (takes longer to do that) but realize that the cheek colour stays on longer that way. Was wondering have you seen Paula Begoun’s book on “Don’t go to the cosmetics counter without me” where she provides reviews of the major cosmetics. She’s got a website too at http://www.cosmeticsCop.com. How are you liking the Deluxe assortment box? Looks really cool and love the colours!
I do like cream blushes more – they last longer on me like you said 🙂 I really like NARS blushes though cos even though they’re powder, they’re so pigmented!
Im a big fan of Paula’s.. have all her books and most of her products 🙂
I totally love the deluxe assortment! Expensive but worth it IMHO because I use everything.

Man, that $40 could’ve been spent on food or gas! You should complain to the medical facility about that doctor if he’s just going to make sloppy assumptions about your condition. If it turns out to be something more serious that leaves scars or whatnot, he could be held liable for negligence…but why allow that to happen? Explain your situation and see if you can get a second opinion without having to pay again.

Well, I bought mine from Sephora, so returning it was easy. I’ve never returned to Saks though. First of all I thought they were all CC’s. It turned out that the first 3 (or was it 2?) were lip glosses and the others were for the cheeks. the lip stuff was SO SHEER it was sad, like I like sheer stuff but it was even too sheer for me. Also when it arrived everything was very oily. {?!) The cheek colors just didn’t suit me well. So back it went.
Yeah I heard they were really sheer and many people were disappointed with them 🙁 You’re so lucky you get to return it after using it though! I guess if I don’t like mine I can swap or sell it.. but now I’m scared to use it just in case I don’t like it *lol*

When was your card charged? Mine took about 2 weeks to arrive and my card charged… but she charged my card only about 3 wks after I originally ordered.
She charged my card on 5 Nov, the day after I placed the order over the phone. It’s been more than a month now. I’ve contacted her and she’s still checking the order and hasn’t got back to me.
Hrm it’s been awhile.. it shouldn’t take that long 🙁 Try calling her again and see? She’s really busy all the time so she could’ve accidently forgotten! Hope you get it soon though, and she’s awesome so you’ll probably get heaps of extras 🙂

All I know is that I am on a serious Shiseido kick. My mum sent me some of their latest eyeshadows (creamy, in metallic shades).. and I wear that ALL THE TIME. haha. I used to wear sooo much eye makeup all throughout high school. Nothing’s really changed. 😀
Heh I’ve never tried Shiseido’s eyeshadows.. but I really like their Pureness cleansing wipes! I’m the exact opposite – I didn’t even KNOW what makeup was in high school, let alone use it.. but since I turned 20, I just went nuts 😉
