Re: Love the pics!
Thanks! Australia does provide great scenic photos π It’s been really cold this past week or two though, which is really miserable.. but it’s still sunny so at least the photos still look good! And YES of course I remember you – I fwded the list to mum and she loved it π
It’s my dad’s digicam that we’re using and it’s an Olympus, do’nt know the model number though, but it’s a great camera – it takes indoor pics really well!

I used to read your journal all the time! The pics are great. My boyfriend works for Microsoft hear in the US.
Hi! I remember you back from Laundro π
What does your boyfriend do in MS? It must be wonderful to work in MS in the States, he’s really lucky!
He actually isn’t working there yet. Like he interns there every summer and they offered him a job for next year. He’s going to be on the development team from VB.Net and working on Visual Studio stuff. My boyfriend is a freaking genius though I hate it cause I’m a CS major as well and I’m no where near the level he is. He spent his first and seconds years at college in the lab programming all the time. I hate it. I could never do that.
Ohhh lucky guy! I’m using Visual Studio as well.. we’re developing some applications here soon in C#. I’m really looking forward to it π
Hey I did CS as part of my degree too!
Yea if I remember correctly you did Psych and CS. I’m planning on doing that as well with a minor in Cognitive Science. That is if I don’t completely fail my psychopathology class.
Psych and CS is me, you have a good memory π I really recommend it cos when you do CS, it’s quite a narrow field.. but with Psych, you get to do HCI and AI and a *lot* you have a more opportunities. Plus Psych is fun π
Yea that’s what I’m hoping for π One of the profs here is really into the AI stuff so I like to hang around him and talk about stuff.

Erm.. its one really close to where the Krispy Kreme donuts are, and it’s at a weir with water around. I don’t know the name, sorry!!
Great pics! The dinner that you dad prepared looks delish! π
Hehe it WAS pretty good.. bit of an overload of salmon though – we misjudged and bought HEAPS!
Ooh I love salmon!
Me too.. especially SASHIMI :)~
I can’t handle raw stuff though.
p/s: Can I add you to my friends’ list?
I normally don’t like raw stuff but sashimi is an exception π
And yeah, sure!Thanks!

my fav one was the one of you eating the pie. now im craving pies ahahaha
Heh.. those pies are REALLY good. The chicken is really creamy with gravy and the warm cream cheese on top just makes it perfect!

–Amelia
OH it doesn’t look so bad with clothes on, until I pull my top up and reveal my midriff π But I guess I”ll exercise to tone up, so that way I can still EAT!
OMG!! how cute is ryan girdler?!?! he’s the sole reason why i watched the game really. π
*lol* good enough reason π Too bad he was on the bench most of the time.. but at least in future I won’t go “ughhhh rugby, I’d never watch that”!
Nice pics!!! And hmm.. you do look a tiny bit fleshier. =p
And I noticed how Chris and his dad look so alike! His dad is quite handsome too eh? =P
Urrrkkk… I know I look heaps bigger, but oh well! I’m worried about my stomach, butt and face though – all are fatty π
Yeah Chris is SO MUCH like his dad it’s uncanny!
Haahaha… same problem here, fatter cheeks, big tummy, fatter thighs and butt…
But Im reducing my meals now, and my bf says its obvious and works! =P
Urkk.. I can’t reduce food, it’s too hard π So I’m going to try and exercise instead. But I get so sore afterwards! I hate it when age catches up with you π

Hi Bev,
Thanks for sharing with us your pics. You look a lot like your dad, by the way!!
Wow really? Most people say I look like mum! I guess a mix of both π
Great pics, bev!
I LOVE HARRY’S PIES!!! Used to go there very often with my friends and I absolutely loved the cheese and pea pies and the cheese dogs!!! That place’s one of the main reasons I wanna go back to Sydney so badly! Yum Yum!
Cool, so you’ve had it too!! Are the hot dogs any good?? Was eyeing them as well.. but the chicken & cream cheese pie is SO good, going to go back for more this week π
Was it your first time there? π You’re going to get addicted to that place π
You’ve got to try the hot dogs! They are really really nice. I especially loved the cheese dogs. Couldn’t take the chilli dogs as they are really really spicy.
Yeah my first time.. I’m a newbie π
I’m definitely up for the cheese dogs – not really a chilli fan.
BEV! I have missed your posts dearly.. am glad to see that you are doing well, and making the most of your time with the parents while they are in town.
I loved going through the photos – the one of Chris carrying your purse is my all-time favorite. π I always make my boyfriends do that, but they don’t really listen to me unless they’re drunk.
Honestly though, these photos were fabulous. It just added illustration to an already colorful entry, and it’s been a fantastic way for me to start the day off. Take care, and good luck with the parents-meeting-parents dinner!
PS. what is up with the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb?! I never knew about that.. that is insane.
Haven’t had much time to update my LJ or surf around, for that matter, but I save weekends for that now π
*lol* didn’t even notice the pic of Chris carrying my bag! He got teased SO MUCH for it, ‘cos it’s just SO small and SO girly π My parents laughed at him and strangers on the street were like “Nice bag…” *lol* So he won’t carry it anymore π
Oh and people pay $100+ to climb up the bridge.. crazy IMHO ‘cos it’s so cold and windy up there! But apparently the view’s fantastic.
