Was in Randwick Medical today, and one of the receptionists(mature lady with turquoise spectacle frames) praised the efficiency of their new computer system thingy. You’ve obviously been appreciated there! πŸ™‚

Hey cool! You should’ve come in the arvo, ‘cos that’s when I’m there πŸ˜› Tomorrow’s my last day though.. I’ll miss working there πŸ™

Ahhh I didn’t MAKE the new software or anything! I just provide a bit of support and help, y’know? I didn’t develop the billing software or anything like that. But it IS a great new system and works so well. The lady was Liz πŸ™‚

Wow, Bev, that really sounds great. I’m so excited for you!

I know what those 12 hour days are like, though (not that mine were as bad as yours – I didn’t have to work), because I did work experience at Microsoft back in year 10. It was hell trying to get from my house to Central Station by 7.30am, just because the bus trip there took nearly two hours in peak hour traffic. Then it was the same deal going home. I’m not sure what it’s like now they’ve got the new building (they do have that new building, right?)

Anyway, congratulations.

Megan.

Thanks Megan! Hey that’s cool (about work experience with MS).. did you enjoy it? I didn’t even know they offered that, wish I did cos I would’ve wanted to apply. But once you graduate you can go back to them (assuming you want to!) I’m at Epping.. is that the new building?
