Is there an A&E you can go to? That’s the place I usually head to when I need a doctor ASAP – even if I have to wait more than an hour b4 I get to see the doctor! Better than waiting for daySSS b4 they’d let you see a doc. They do this shit here too and I hate that. It’s pretty stupid actually. I’d definitely scream at the receptionist if she talked to me the way she did to you.
Anyway, I hope you feel better somehow.

I think you should ring up again and this time say you want an emergency appointment, lay it on a bit thick and hopefully they will try and fit you in quicker. If you have hurt your back you could be making it worse by walking about etc. so it’s best to find out for certain. Think of it this way, if you sort your back out now you can partaay after exams ha!

They don’t care ‘cos it’s a Uni doctor ;( I hope they can actually find something instead of referring me to a specialist or something, which is a hassle if I have to walk or catch a bus there! But hehehe you’re so right, I can’t wait to go mad after exams 😛

Honestly, why don’t u check out the chiropractor on Anzac Pde I was telling you about ? see what they can tell you, I’m sure they can still refer you to take an X-Ray.
But you definitely have to see someone really soon. you MUST…

I found a chiro at Randwick which is much nearer where I live, but I heard that chrio’s aren’t as good ‘cos they don’t have Xray machines so they can’t actually tell exactly what’s wrong and will try and massage the area – but if it’s a slipped disc you CAN’T massage the area! So I figured I’ll see a doc first, then get a recommendation to a chiro if necessary.. but my appointment’s in an hour, can’t wait!
