Copenhagen, Family, HOLIDAYS BYEEE COPENHAGEN! 19 July 2013

We left blue-skied Copenhagen juuuuust when Singapore’s haze crisis was lifting (it was horrid for the past week or two whilst we were away, to the point where people were walking around wearing face masks!).

It’s a smart idea to take long-haul flights in the afternoon, when you’re travelling with young children. It gives you enough time to putter around in the morning doing all the necessities (ie. breakfast, shower, etc), so you don’t have to rush around like a chicken with its head cut off. Our check out process was fairly leisurely because of that!

One of these things shouldn’t be packed in the suitcase…

In a giant maxi cab on the way to the airport

Our flight was…… amazing. Boy, WE LUCKED OUT! Both kids slept almost the entire journey. It was such a glorious surprise, LOL. Both were super well behaved and were quiet, then fell asleep and zonked out whilst we ate and slept and watched movies. And drank 😉

A glass of wine and some canapes to start

Food! Food that I could sit back and eat in peace..

Both kids, quietly chilling

Ahhhh….. peace and quiet

The sunset over Copenhagen. Goodbye!
