Had a cheese fondue dinner party, hosted by a lovely girl friend as she’s just moved into a swish new apartment! There were 8 of us and with 3 being French, they made sure it was totally authentic, down to the exact cheeses that needed to be used 🙂 Mmmm yummy! We doubled the amount of cheese that we used the last time but amazingly, we finished it all. Yes, we’re greedy ‘lil fatties. What do you expect when you put the top two foodie cultures (that’d be Asian and French) in the world together? 😉
So we had cheese, and dipping bread (crusty onion baguettes OMG!), ham-off-the-bone, salad with golden shallots dressing, white wine.. and mango sorbet for dessert. Yummilicious. And THAT, my friends, is how to have a proper Friday night dinner!

Fondue is such a great meal for winter… But than ts getting to be summer here and I’m planning a fondue dinner with some friends (out, at a fondue place) soon. So its pretty good all the time!
Its so yummy….What could be bad about melted cheese or chocolate? Well, bad in the sense of tasty…not bad in the sense of your clothes fitting!
I love fondue so much I think i’d have it anytime.. and if it’s summer I’ll just turn on the airconditioning, hehe!

Hey, I resent the insinuation that if they hadn’t been there, we may possibly have filled the pot with random bits of Coon, Bega, or Mainland cheese!
Making authentic fondue is easier than taking off a loose pair of trackpants! In fact, I’m going to do that right now with no hands and my eyes closed…
Totally, and toe cheese, even. You never know.. can’t trust the non-French
And I know Erica’s there to take your trackpants off for you, so stop cheatin’!
