All the food was goooood, wish the pics turned out better though! :X
And yeah, the Reeboks were a great buy as I’d been looking for a new pair of joggers for a few months now – yay 😀

Wow it seems like you had an amazing time! I don’t really like winter too because there are so many types of clothes you can’t wear and so many things you can’t do (plus you become more lazy to go out). But the seafood looks REALLY awesome.!
Winter’s flippin’ awful… my skin’s totally dried out :X

Love your photos..looks like you had a great time! 🙂 There’s a Morton’s Steakhouse in Vancouver too. There’s also the upscale Gotham Steakhouse which you’d probably love. It’s extremely popular with celebrities and the like.
posted on March 13, 2006 at 3:37 pm
Morton’s is so good.. it’s in SG too, but wish it was in AU!
Where’s Gotham? I can go there next week when I’m in Vancouver!
posted on March 14, 2006 at 5:56 am
It’s in downtown on Seymour Street. It’s close to all the shopping districts too (Pacific Centre, Robson St, etc). Or you might like Blue Water Cafe, which is an upscale seafood place.
Which days are you in Vancouver? Hopefully the weather will be nice! 🙂

Oooo if I’m nearby I’ll check it out.. and I’m always up for Seafood too! I’ll be in Vancouver Sunday and Monday.. so in about a week.. I hope it doesn’t rain :X

omg that steak just looks totally scrumptious! i am gonna plan to trip to Morton’s!!!
posted on March 13, 2006 at 3:36 pm
The steak was the best I’ve ever had , seriously! But the meal + drinks ended up being US$200.. eek….

Your food pics absolutely kill me. Gosh, everything looks so good!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week, even if you are crazy busy right now.

I wish the places were brighter as my camera doesn’t take pics well in the dark 🙁 But ah well! Enough to remember them by 🙂

Glad you are having a wonderful time 🙂
Oooh! I love those warm chocolate that has a rich fudgey centre which oozes out! Mmmm.. Perfect with vanilla ice cream!

That dessert was blimmin’ fantastic! Perfect for the cold weather too 😀

It is too cold in the Bay Area lately. Those are some great pictures, especially of food (yummy!). P.S. The famous building in SF is the TransAmerica building.
posted on March 13, 2006 at 3:40 pm
Yeah… bad timing to be here huh :X
The building was pretty! Didn’t do that much sightseeing though… too busy shopping 😛
posted on March 14, 2006 at 5:55 am
Some interesting history here. Bank of America and Transamerica used to be part of the same company, so there has always been a low-key rivalry. When Bank of America built its building, which was then the tallest building in San Francisco, the only way Transamerica could top it, given height and lot-size restrictions, was to build theirs in the shape of a pyramid.

Re: Transamerica pyramid
Oh hahah! I bet it was guys that started the rivalry…………… 😛

Please buy some warm clothes! Don’t want you to freeze plus it’s really windy in SF. Glad you’re enjoying the food plus the shopping as well. How are you liking those Shu Uemura eyelash curler? Read that it’s one of the best around.
posted on March 14, 2006 at 6:14 am
I know 🙁 The weather is shocking!!
Shu Uemura curler is the only one I use.. I keep rebuying and rebuying, nothing else comes close!
posted on March 13, 2006 at 5:33 pm
my mistake is to read your latest entry at night, when i’ve just had a late meal. ‘cos right now… i feel hungry again after viewing the food pics! do keep yourself warm though!
posted on March 14, 2006 at 6:13 am
Hee!! It’s a good thing the pics didn’t turn out nicely then 😛
posted on March 13, 2006 at 8:19 pm
Yeah, even WE are freezing. You just happened to come during our RARE snow and hail storms. It only happens ever few decades. Looks like you got a lot of sightseeing in nonetheless, so that’s cool. Kuletos is nice, but expensive. There are a bunch of them around the city and Peninsula so I guess it depends on which one you went to. I share your zest for good food. I don’t, however, share your ability to eat all that food and not gain weight.
Ugh. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Hopefully it’ll warm up a bit. We San Franciscans just aren’t used to this.

The weather suuuucccckkks 🙁 Bad timing huh?! But it still didn’t stop us from sightseeing and shopping, so I can’t complain 🙂
posted on March 13, 2006 at 9:23 pm
If you think SF is bad, you should try Pennsylvania during even a mild winter. 😉
Heh I know.. no thanks! I’m no winter girl and I definitely don’t like snow!

Morton’s is the most amazing steakhouse, pricey but worth it. Yum
Everything you eat looks amazing. Seems like a good time in San Fran, I look forward to more trip updates.

I totally agree!! Worth the price for the most perfect steak in the world. It’s sublime :)~

great pics! 🙂 Glad you’re having fun! Compared to the east coast winter, San Francisco weather is summer. 🙂
posted on March 14, 2006 at 6:07 am
Aww I know.. but I compare to Sydney or Singapore, haha. I can’t wait for warm weather again *shiver*!
posted on March 14, 2006 at 2:30 am
The seafood reminds me of the seafood I had in Sydney. Looks so yummy.
Sydney does have good seafood, I gotta admit. But nothing beats SF for chowder!!

Mmmm…the garlic mashed potatoes and your chocolately dessert looks fab. I’m interested in your reviews of the goodies that you got from Sephora.

I am IN LOVE with the Fresh foundation and concealer!! Really excellent and feels so nice on the skin.. I like most of the stuff I got since I do an exhaustive amount of research before buying cosmetics/skincare

Love seafood chowder! I am sure it would be lovely slurping up the soup in the cold weather 🙂 have a great week!

It’s yuuuuuuuum… and SF has one of the best chowders imho. Really delish :)~

Haha yeah people think I’m a bit bizzare for taking pics.. but I don’t care 😛
I don’t do well in the cold :X I wish it was 10 degrees warmer.. at least!!
