You know what, among most of the skincare products that I have tried, so far my favorite brands have to be FANCL, BIOTHEM, and LANCOME.
The Biotherm make up base is ‘fantastic’; FANCL’s cleasning oil is superb and LANCOME is really good overall.
As far as masks are concerned, I like BIOTHERM’s Aquasource (my skin is really dry and this is *just* what I need!), SKII’s (the one you’ve been using), FANCL’s under-eye mask (for dark circles) and Sebum Care Pack (mainly for dark spots on my nose).
ps- you said you haven’t used any Japanese skincare product prior to this entry, but I seem to remember you did try FANCL’s cleasning oil before, right?

Bev, I would love to hear your reviews after some time, about the lancome whitening eye cream. I tried it at the counter, and love its texture. SA said it’s supposed to be moisturizing too. So if it can get rid of dark circles, it’ll have to be my miracle eye product!

The La Prairie that I got was off my cousin so I’m not sure.. but I think it’s salicylic acid, since most anti-blemishes are like that!
I’m not sure if it was a coincidence but my zit came out overnight.. gotta wait for another zit and try it out again 😛

Haha no, but TRYING VERY HARD to!! lolll.. I think it runs in my family as my cousin has it too, but breakouts on the chin and leaves red marks afterwards 🙁 Apparently it’s stress but I don’t feel stressed?? Who knows..

always had issues with break-outs on my chin and I’ve tried stuff from time to time – finally went to a dermotologist who said i had to stay on an antibiotic for quite a while to get rid of break outs in that area. Didnt believe him and didnt want to do it but ended up on antibiotics for something else a short while later (for quite a while) and guess what? For the first time in my life….no chin break outs…and its been a year. might be worth a visit to a doc?

i guess it could be any doc – but as a skin doc he just seemed to ‘know’ that i would need an extended period of time on them to take care of it…i also use two perscription face creams (but i hardly need them now) one is called brevoxyl and one is called differin…i got the perscriptions from him also…
i spent alot of money and time on beauty stuff but break outs are really a medical thing… seeing a doc really is money well spent in the long run

Other masks that are good, Garnier lemon mask, my sis likes the H20 ones too. There is this korean brand called The Face Shop. There is an outlet at Bugis Junction and Plaza Singapura. The masks and yoghurt packs work for me 🙂
I’m more of a H20, Sk2 person so you could ask me on that if you like 😉
Btw, Biotherm’s Anti Spot Emergency is good for zapping away zits. Works good for my sis and I
I *love* SK-II’s facial treatment essence and their clear lotion.. just about all their products really. I hope it’s not the mask that gave me the zits.. we’ll see when i try again next week 😛

Haha no, but TRYING VERY HARD to!! lolll.. I think it runs in my family as my cousin has it too, but breakouts on the chin and leaves red marks afterwards 🙁 Apparently it’s stress but I don’t feel stressed?? Who knows..
Anyway, I’m obsessed with skincare/makeup.. it’s only recently that I’ve also included fashion in the mix 😛
always had issues with break-outs on my chin and I’ve tried stuff from time to time – finally went to a dermotologist who said i had to stay on an antibiotic for quite a while to get rid of break outs in that area. Didnt believe him and didnt want to do it but ended up on antibiotics for something else a short while later (for quite a while) and guess what? For the first time in my life….no chin break outs…and its been a year. might be worth a visit to a doc?

i guess it could be any doc – but as a skin doc he just seemed to ‘know’ that i would need an extended period of time on them to take care of it…i also use two perscription face creams (but i hardly need them now) one is called brevoxyl and one is called differin…i got the perscriptions from him also…
i spent alot of money and time on beauty stuff but break outs are really a medical thing… seeing a doc really is money well spent in the long run

Oh before I forget, I have been using SKIN DOCTOR’s “Circle Clear” for a couple of weeks and I think that kinda works for me too, and I have some huge dark cirlces under my eyes, mind you!!

Bev, I would love to hear your reviews after some time, about the lancome whitening eye cream. I tried it at the counter, and love its texture. SA said it’s supposed to be moisturizing too. So if it can get rid of dark circles, it’ll have to be my miracle eye product!

The La Prairie that I got was off my cousin so I’m not sure.. but I think it’s salicylic acid, since most anti-blemishes are like that!
I’m not sure if it was a coincidence but my zit came out overnight.. gotta wait for another zit and try it out again 😛
