well when you’re (fairly!) young you have a fast metabolism.. then when you get older it slows down. So I figure while I’m young I better milk it for all it’s worth , right?! πŸ˜›

Yummy, we like cow…i guess you aussies don’t have have mad cow problem there. but i love cow. yummy i like mine rare…bloody on the inside still…hee hee…

You’re lucky in that way, cos’ S’pore’s service wouldn’t be *that* generous. At most, they offer a “sorry” and a shrug – that was what we had when my salmon was undercooked; they just brought it in to be cooked more. Ahhh well. πŸ˜‰

Ya I know, even in AU they’re usually not that wonderful – the service normally IS much better than SG’s though! But these 2 girls really went out of their way.. sooo nice πŸ™‚

your pictures look so yummy, I can eat them haha Hey the food portions are so small in comparison to San Francisco. Lucky! I use to listen to my parents and never waste food, but now that I’m older (and don’t order from the kiddie menu, the portions are way too much). Allowing more oppurtunity to over eat =X for example this is a slice of american pizza! Holy smokes! And this is a seving of steak!

I had a 250g steak and Chris had a 300g one, but yeah, they go all the way up to 450g! I’d be sooo stuffed :X The steak and pizza look gooooooooooood tho πŸ˜›

Wow those waitresses sound great!! Coming from a service background, I would actually call them tomorrow, ask for the shift manager and let them know your experience with the waitresses so that they get the recognition they so obviously deserve πŸ™‚

I always make a point of doing that, whether it be with a restaurant or getting a great bunch of flowers from a florist because so often we forget to make the extra effort to compliment people on their customer service skills but we are always so quick to complain!

Yeah Chris is going to write in to their head office πŸ™‚ With a complaint at how dodgy the fine print is, and a compliment on how those 2 waitresses turned a potentially bad situation (we would NEVER have gone back and I’d bitch about it everywhere offline and online, lol) to a really good one – they were polite and sweet and professional! I was quite astounded, never thought customer service could be that good! Definitely going back now πŸ™‚ Also surprising that BOTH were good and not just one!
