Yep, works like a dream! hehe 🙂 I have seperate friends lists too, like ones that I’m going to use when I’m doing custom buys and stuff..cause sometimes I only want to buy for my closer LJ buddies. 🙂
Hmmm how do you do separate friends lists? I’m not a paid member so I’m not sure if I can do it 🙁
Well its actually more like a filter, its accessible to all users cause I made a few groups for tony before he was a paid member…
Make a new group, like if you just wanted to post for SG’ers you could call it “SG only” or something. Then add all the people you want into that group and press save. You can edit who is/isn’t in a group.
On the flipside though, just say you wanted to post that you where surprising your a LJ buddy. Then you could make a group that included everyone except that person and they’d be the only one who couldn’t see that post. (I do this to block out some IRL friends sometimes. 😉 )
When you go to post it will be under the options that say “friends, private” etc, when you go to custom it will bring up your groups.

I don’t really have that many friends listed and I don’t really know why I’d only want a certain group to read my entries, but heck, it’s still such a good idea 😛 I created a group “SG” for Singaporeans, and “Makeup” for my friends whom I know from MUA. I don’t know if I’ll ever use it but it’s such a cool feature to have handy 🙂 You rock!
